Overview

Hyatt Centric Park City is a Park City ski-in, ski-out resort packed with modern amenities. The hotel exudes the grandeur of a classic European lodge. The hotel is home to oversized guest rooms and one- to four-bedroom suites across three mountain lodges -- Wasatch, White Pine and Uinta. The Canyons is a wintry paradise with 176 trails, six natural half pipes and a new ski beach.

Dining

Rooms

With 17 different room options, guests at Hyatt Centric Park City can choose from a typical hotel room with a king or two queen beds or opt for a suite. Every accommodation has a fireplace and high-speed Internet access, and suites include full gourmet kitchens, European frameless showers, and a washer and dryer. Terrible Stay!!

Would not recommend Mon, Aug 6, 2012
The service was terrible. Staff was uninterested and understaffed. Rooms were not well cleaned or refreshed - bed sheets had holes, 2 bugs found in bedding, no extra toilet paper or towels. When I called to ask for towels/washclothes, housekeeping never showed up. Rooms were very warm and AC did not work well. Took 12+ to cool from from 89 to 79 degrees. Overall the rooms were large, and aesthetically pleasing. Devon at the front desk was the only redeeming feature of this hotel.

Great Place to Stay

Would recommend Mon, Apr 16, 2012
Accommodations great. Staff friendly. Would be nice to have been informed about different things to do in the area. A full-service Spa would be beneficial.

Dining

There are some really nice places to eat in the shopping center near Kimball Junction.

GAPEACH

Would recommend Sun, Apr 8, 2012
Hotel was beautiful, staff very pleasant. Rooms need full length mirror, as well as mirror outside bathroom for additional dressing. Ice needs to be available in buildings instead of by room service. Staff was very pleasant, although our luggage was delayed, an item broken and not replaced, and basic info over phone not available/didn't know. Convenience (ski in/out) a plus. Hot tub/pool outstanding.

Ski Getaway

Would recommend Thu, Dec 15, 2011
Staff was great. Wished the property had a working resturant (coming Dec 2011) on-site. The Canyons had plenty of dinning options within walking distance. Location was perfect. Free public transportation into Park City was great. If you stay late for dinner and drinks in the city and need a cab the cab fees are not metered but negotiated. Umbrella Bar was a Great Hangout after a day of runs on the mountain. Staff was fun and helpful.

Entertainment hint

Umbrella Bar...Great Staff...Beer only. Wings and chili fries were fabulous.

Exceptional Hotel, but

Would recommend Mon, Aug 8, 2011
Wonderful hotel and great upgrade. The only problem was that [...] we had to pay an additional $20 per day resort fee. To me, a fee is a fee and should have been inclusive.

Dining

The hotel does not have a restaurant yet, however, the Westgate just a short walk down was great.

Hyatt Escala

Would recommend Fri, Aug 5, 2011
Great loacation for winter vacations. When it comes to summer There is not much to do. During summer the resturants at Canyons Resort seem to be closed for the season. YOu must drive to Park City proper or to Kimball junction to eat. At night that is fine but at 8 am i just wanted eggs and bacon. Once we were settled the stay was great, quiet and friendly staff.

Dining

Plan ahead, get up and out at 7 or 8 am.

Great time in Park City

Would recommend Sun, Jul 24, 2011
Overall the hotel was good to very good. Two bedroom suite with full kitchen and family area was well layed out. It was plenty for our party of three adults and 1 child. Staff was very pleasant but sometimes the information that they gave regarding things to do and restaurants went from a little off to just plain wrong. The hotel has a small provisions area for coffee and other food items that is open from 7- 11. A restaurant is scheduled to open soon.

Attractions

The olympic village was a quick drive. It featured zip lines tobagon and luge rides as well as ski jumping into a pool. Great time.
