Ehhh
The hotel is in a great location if you have any business in Ogden. It's centrally located with good access to the city amenities. The hotel itself appears to have been updated sometime in the not too distant past but it still has a "dated" feel to it. The restaurants are good, the facility is clean and the workout & pool areas are well maintained. The only negative in that area would be on the hot tub - the water temp read 95 degrees but I don't think that was right. The hot tube actually felt kinda' cold to me. My big negative here would be on the temperature controls in the room. The fan had 1 speed - "Hurricane" and while there was a fan speed button on the controls it made no change on the fan speed. I finally just turned the whole unit off, cracked the window open and dealt with it.

There's a few bars and restaurants right outside the back door. Not a bad area to grab a beer.

hotel was exceptional, however the service was just ok. 3-5 minutes standing at the front lobby wtih no one there. a staff member walked by without saying a word. long drive in from pullman, washington and was just wanting to check in promptly. room and everything else was great...

Ask for room on 24th Street side.
Nice room. Comfy bed. Shower did not drain properly and backed up to about ankle level. Heat and air is centrally controlled and was set for summer temps making for a chilly evening. Hotel staff was courtiuos but we had to ask for a crib twice. House runs a tight ship - very clean rooms.

If you're looking for a quiet nights sleep make sure you ask for a room on the 24th Street side. There are some happening (& noisy) bars on the other side.

great view, weather was really nice. only criticism was that the bathroom had no fan.

go to the mom and pop places: wine cellar had great live music on thurs night. had excellent ambiance and amazing musician. fun, fun, fun!!

Ogden Marriott
The Marriott seems to be one of the nicest hotels in Ogden. We had reserved a 2 queen bed room but were sold out so accommodated us with a rollaway bed that we didn't have to pay for. The hotel was clean and their gym was small but decent size to get a workout in. Overall, a nice place.

No heat,flooded bathroom.
No heat in room with 40 degree outside temperature. Flooded bathroom from toilet. Not enough portable heaters available. Moved to a suite but no food available because of short staff on the floor. Overall poor planning for colder weather and staffing in food area.

Nice Hotel
Unfortunatly the hotel was under remodel and we had to walk under plastic tarps and the paint smell was strong. I found this to be disturbing and felt that they should have offered some kind of deal for the mess. The staff was friendly and the hotel was clean. The location is great- close to resturants and main streets.
