Quick Stay
Not to shabby price in a great location. In walking distance of the outdoor mall, the baseball park and the restaurants and bars on 25th Street. Make sure if you get a parking place though, the hotel parking is limited and fills up fast. We drove to dinner and had to find a spot on the street, and get it moved by morning to avoid a ticket.

Nightlife tip:
Short walk from hotel
Ogden isn't famous for night life, but what little there is can be found around the corner from this hotel. City Club, Brewskis and Roosters are all personal favorites and it was nice to walk back to the room.

Elegant down town
I live in Ogden and had a guest fly in and we wanted a hotel near downtown/walking distance to local activities. The room was beautiful with down town charm. The staff was fantastic. I was able to show my friend historic 25th St, the Junction, and attend the Christmas parade. And the best part of the visit was we got engaged in your hotel!

Great accomodations, even greater price!
There's always a reason I choose The Hampton no matter what city I visit - it's reliable! The staff was friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. The only negative I have to say about this particular Hampton is the parking - you have to walk from a parking garage around the block in a not-so-ideal part of town. The continental breakfast is terrific, though, and the snack shop is ideal for night owls like myself. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel!

Downtown hotel
The hotel was located in the heart of downtown Ogden. I am not familiar with Ogden (or most of Utah) and was pleasantly suprised to find this downtown area. We were close to the Christmas cottage display (a block away) and a few blocks away from the entertaiment center but we didn't have time to visit that. I will arrive earlier next time to explore it. The nightstaff person was unfriendly but you could easily ignore that. The bathroom did not have a heat source so it was cold the whole time. We stayed in the back area so our view was the alley. The parking area was a small garage that barely was manuervable for our small truck. Don't park in in there if you have something big. Also there wasn't direct access to the hotel you had to walk through the alley and around which could be timid at night. Given all of that I would stay there again for the price just ask for a heater for the bathroom.

Hampton Inn, Ogden
The location is ideal for skiing in Ogden and Salt Lake, lots of little touches that made the stay very pleasant; conveniently located next to 25th Street with restaurants and shopping and a "new" recreation complex.

Stylish Decor, Good Value
Recently spent a few nights at the Hampton Inn in Ogden visiting a college with my son. The staff was pleasant and accommodating for a late arrival. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The noise level in the room was louder in the AM due to outside traffic. The staff moved us up a couple of floors and it helped slightly. The view was nice, however the outside of the windows were dirty with pigeon droppings. The area is a little mixed with some older areas(25th Street)and a new and up and coming area of condo's being built with empty store fronts underneath. Also close by is a new cinema and an indoor surfing/skydiving facility. Near the hotel are some old vacant storefronts not many people around on the streets during the day.

Sightseeing tip:
Long walk from hotel
Union Station was interesting - a little railroad history, an antique car display, and an old gun museum.
