Weekend in Moab

Hotel was great, clean comfortable and much better than expected for the price. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was better than the average buffet style and seating was comfortable. Dog friendly, NO HASSLE! Only gave amenities a 4 because we didn't see the pool area. Based on everything else probably 5. Also, convenient yet just far enough out of town to be quiet, bike path just behind the service station across the way, nice to walk.

Time-saving tip: Short walk from hotel

Service station/convenience store across the street has great snacks and sandwiches. We had some lemon meringue pie that tasted homemade! Good place to get lunch to go. Paved bike trail behind it, we enjoyed walking with our dog.

Somewhat disappointing, but overall ok

It was a mix. The room was clean and with two adults and two kids staying there, the extra sitting area was a great feature. We faced the red rock slope at the back of the hotel on the second floor which made for no road noise, although we discovered the walls were thin on our third night when some noise came through from the adjoining room. Beds were pretty comfortable. Furniture in the room is poor quality particle board and the drawers stuck and/or were broken. The hot tub was quite nice, but the indoor pool had some disturbing plumes of black water entering through all the jets. We asked the front desk to look into that--they seemed totally unconcerned and said they'd call the maintenance person. Next morning the problem persisted, so we asked them again. The less-than-friendly new desk person seemed unaware of the problem and said she'd call maintenance. No follow up, and still black water, but the next day we talked to yet a third person at the desk who said, "Oh yeah, I heard something about that...I guess the maintenance man said it's just the pool chemicals coming in...not the chlorine, but...something else?" Hmmm. Maybe, and maybe not. We didn't want to swim in it, which was a bummer. The exercise room was ok, but somewhat sloppily maintained and the elliptical machine was stuck in a downhill position which made for an interesting workout. Breakfast was above average. The location was fine--Moab is easy to walk and the pizza place next door was great for a dinner. There is also a nice looking little market right across the parking lot. Visiting Arches was terrific!

Comfortable & clean, a notch above our expectations

My husband and I where in Moab for the Folk Music Festival. We arrived in town early and played Disc Golf on the city course, very scenic and a fun course to play. When we checked into our room, we found reception friendly and informative. The room was large with a sitting area, very comfortable bed, and hot shower with plenty of water pressure. Dog stayed for free. "Continental" breakfast included eggs, sausage, and potatoes. The whole experience was quite a bit better than expected for the price. Will stay there again.

Awesome overall!

Very well located, friendly staff. We really enjoyed the pool and hot tub as well as the good breakfast. The only thing that could be better is the bed which is too small and not comfortable at all... my husband and I had a bad back pain after the two nights. Other than that, everything was perfect!
