Smelly and noisy rooms

Everything typical of a cheap hotel, but the room smells funky when you first walk in (every time) and you can hear EVERYTHING through the walls & in the hallway. Other than that, it's an okay enough place to stay if you're in Moab on a busy weekend and have no other options.

Not the best, not the worst

location was good, near center of town, but motel itself somewhat rundown and basic. Next to an ugly dirt lot and lots of traffic noise.

Moab Rim Cyclery is just one block off the main drag, but the best (and most long-standing) bike shop in town!

Rather disappointing

Basic room amenities were adequate. However, cleanliness is seriously lacking from somewhat cursory room housekeeping to rather grungy and soiled floors in the public areas such as lobby and hallways; outside trash was found very visible and near the building and entrances daily. Staff attitudes were very lackadaisical, bordering on apathetic in addressing noise problems or even directions to the drink machine. The location along the main street of Moab is a good one, but it is honestly the only thing I can think of to recommend it. Others in the Days Inn chain far surpass this one.

Definitely visit Arches National Park and Dead Horse Point park, just about 25 minute drive away. Also, great rafting, bicycle, 4-wheeler rentals and excursions all along the same street as the motel?
