4 wheel paradise

Great staff, with clean comfortable rooms located near the center of town...stayed four nights and only tore off one mudflap on a trail my wife didn't like.

Arches National Park was incredible, just five miles from the motel. It snowed in Canyonlands and Dead Horse Canyon but otherwise the weather was comfortable. Mind boggling beauty.

reasonable place to stay

We have been staying at this motel for at least 4 or 5 years each April. The staff this year was the best that have been there. They actually acknowledged you if you were outside or in the building, and seemed to be enjoying their job. The room seemed to have been upgraded and cleaner than in previous years. I'm not sure if it is under new management or what. But whatever the case they need to keep up the good work! The outside could use some cleaning up, still looking a little rough. All in all it was a good stay

Big bang for the buck

Stayed at Days Inn Moab for the week of Easter Jeep Safari. Very clean and neat room each and every day. The room came with fridge and microwave which suited my long term stay perfectly. They could use an easy chair or recliner as there were just a chair and desk chair...not too comfy to relax on.

Little things

The room was ample, clean and well arranged, but many small things were broken: phone rang every 30 minutes (I was told to unplug it), a light fixture did not work, electrical wall socket pulled out, etc. All items could be fixed simply by a handyman. The 4 star for value is only that high because Moab is very expensive at some times.

Staff at the Information Center in the middle of town are very knowledgable and helpful. Unless you are very familiar with the area, stop by and get their advice.

Smelly and noisy rooms

Everything typical of a cheap hotel, but the room smells funky when you first walk in (every time) and you can hear EVERYTHING through the walls & in the hallway. Other than that, it's an okay enough place to stay if you're in Moab on a busy weekend and have no other options.

Lodging near Arches

If looking for bare minimum place to sleep over while exploring the marvels of nature Arches National Park has to offer (may need more than one night), then Days Inn may do. Although rated 2stars, consistent with what it offers, the price will be reflective more of high demand in an area that sees over 1 million visitors each year. Specific deficits noted: noise level, somewhat crammed quarters, location outside of town center with poor on foot access to restaurants.

Probably best and least expensive restaurant is the Szechuan serving good Chinese fare.

Customer Service is Minimal

I don't think they know what customer service is... The person who checked us in needs a personality check. And they'll tell you, if your not there early for the "continental breadkfast", you lose out, because they don't refill what's already been supplied for the day... There are two reasons I am recommending this motel... 1 - Rate was good online booking service... 2 - Everyone needs to experience their customer service so you can have a good laugh every time you walk through the lobby...

Moab Days Inn 6-29-2012

My first impression was parking in the back of the hotel due to limited spaces and what did we see but a bunch of used bed mattresses left as a fire hazard outside near the hotel. I was a bit taken aback by this. The Front Desk Manager/Owner did not have much personality nor thank us for our business or the stay. The room was clean and good water pressure. Nice HDTV but the new bed mattresses were lower to the ground and very hard. Probably could use some furnishing upgrades at some point. The WiFi free was a nice feature and worked very well. For the value, it was very good to what we would normally expect.
