Moab
Motel was under construction when we arrived. We checked in with no issues and wondered how late the construction crew worked. We walked around town for a bit, the motel is a great location in "downtown" Moab...right by all the shops. Crew was gone when we got back. There is also a little creek that runs in front of the motel. We were pleasantly surprised and strolled the paved path along it. Around 9pm, we were in the room and someone tried to enter. Through the peep hole, we could see a couple trying to open our door. My husband called the front desk. They handled the situation and apologized. They had double-booked the room. However, I can now verify that turning that deadbolt on the door does keep someone from entering, even if the have a key! Overall, it was a great stay. There is a mini fridge, no microwave. The coffee maker is a Keurig, with 6 k cups provided. Clean, quiet and newly remodeled!

Closed for the winter but they didn't tell anyone!
We showed up on Saturday for our overnight stay, Upon arrival we found a large dumpster occupying the parking lot and sign on the front door saying. Closed for the next few months, we tried to contact everyone. Please go to the Ramada where your reservation is now. The one good thing I can say is that the Ramada was nice and very accomidating.

Moab Trail Marathon Stay
Great Location, walk to almost everything. Recommend 2nd Floor. They do give a coupon for breakfast across the street to make up for nothing except brown hot water as coffee in the morning, Starbucks is at CityMarket. They could have fruit and juice on the counter for Breakfast.

A good nights sleep
This is a fairly old hotel in the center of Moab. Room was decent and clean. Nothing spectacular. The fitness center and pool was isolated across the parking lot...Didn't seem to safe to go to in the night and it was just too cold to walk to.

Scoured the town for a decent place to eat and didn't really see anyplace appealing So, I decided to go to the Szechwan Chinese restaurant next door which surprisingly had really good Chinese food. I ordered a take-out and had a very pleasant meal in my hotel room.
