Worth staying there
Quiet room and location, yet convenient access to I-215, dining and shopping. Helpful staff. Better than average free breakfast. Bus to Alta and Snowbird skiing available.

location and service great
Great location and service, came to Salt Lake to visit friends and Snowboard and Super8 Midvale was pretty great only think i could want was a small fridge in room common kitchen/breakfast nook was convient.

This particular hotel really needs to invest in new pillows. They were as flat as pancakes and ended up with a sore neck. New bed linens would be good as well as they are thin. Also please don't use cotton/poly towels, they DON'T dry the body after showering, you can dry and dry and dry yourself and still be wet. Hotel staff were very friendly.

Room, breakfast, hot tub. Says it all.
Rooms are very small with few amenities. No microwave or fridge. Closet doubled as entertainment center, which consisted of an old CRT tv set. Quality of construction was poor. Bathroom door was so far out of square you could literally see through the crack which extended from the floor to the door catch. The floor coverings were all cut short from the edges exposing the underflooring. The front door to the room had a rubber seal/trim between the hallway carpet and room carpet. It was very poorly fitted, so much that the door wouldn't even close without putting your weight into it. Cheap construction and I guess I got what I paie for. If you just need a place to crash for the night, this will do. We came to stay for two nights and ski. There was hardly enough room in the closet to store our ski gear for two. The staff was extremely friendly which was a plus. Also the hot tub area was very small, but the tub was well maintained and helped with the sore muscles from skiing. I guess the theme here is "small." The breakfast area was small as was the dining area. It looked like they took a room and converted it to accommodate the kitchen, serving, and dining areas.

Short walk from hotel
If you want to stay close to the ski resorts without paying resort prices, this place will do. You can catch the ski bus to the Big Cottonwood ski resorts just a short half block walk away from this motel.

Fair but small rooms
The hotel had many restaurants and easy to travel around the city. The rooms were small and outdated. For the nightly rate, I would suggest going to another location.
