La Quinta Inn Salt Lake City Midvale

We prefer staying upstairs, but did not have a choice.

GOT IN AND UNPACKED AND THEN FOUND COCKROCHES CRAWLING ON BATHROOM FLOOR. THEY MOVED ME TO A NEW ROOM BUT WANTED ME TO COME DOWN AND GET THE KEY. MY NEW ROOM WASN'T THE CLEANEST AND I FELT I NEEDED TO WASH MY HANDS EVERY TIME I TOUCHED SOMETHING. I WILL NEVER STAY AT ANOTHER LA QUINTA HOTEL.

Ok, the hotel was worth the price. Staff great, room good n clean but kinda small. However, as i traversed th halls of the place there was obvious vomit stains on the hall carpet. kinda gross when you're walking in bare feet to the swimming pool. The chlorine in the whirlpool was overwhelming and there was no fan for pool area and the lighting was poor. Next time i'll spend the extra bucks for something a bit nicer.

I had a wonderful experience staying at the La Quinta in Midvale, UT. The only thing is that the walls were thin and you could hear crying and yelling early in the morning. However that is very small compared to the amazing staff and care I was given while staying at the La Quinta. I would stay here again on my next trip.

Conveniently located near transporation, but a car is best for options. Dining options in walking distance are limited but acceptable. Dining shortfall is reason for location downcheck. Staff very helpful and friendly Rooms witrh refrigerator & Microwave make life a lot easier and worth considering. Amenites are good with three notable exceptions, Tv's upgraded HD and will accept PC & dvd player inputs, but bring your own cable(s), Amenity downgrade is due to limited storage for clothing in room. Dresser only has two drawers with false in lieu of a third drawer for a total of four vs six. Closet is small. Plenty of capacity for one person, but two adults tax storage. If your staying longer than a week plan on doing laundry there (ON SITE LAUNDRY) or a very compact wardrobe.

Clean, economical and good beds. Could use a little more sound proofing but definitely a place we will stay again.

this is our second time staying at this hotel. Close to where we want to go clean quiet and affordable.

This hotel is located off the freeway, easy to find. There are many restaurants, gas stations and grocery stores, anything you would need is only a couple mins of driving. When I checked in, the receptionist was kind and fast. We got inside our room, and everything was nice and clean. Our bed was made, towels were clean and stacked, we had soap, coffee maker, hair dryer, a table, air conditioner, though there are stains outside the rooms in the hallway, It shouldn't bother anyone. Its not like people hang out in the hallways. There's a nearby ice machine, vending machines too. They have a pool However, did not check that out because it was below 20 degrees when I was there. Breakfast is free for all guests, includes coffee, decaf and regular with all the fixings, waffles you can make fresh yourself, hard boiled eggs, bagels ranging from plain, blueberry, and raisins, along with cream cheese, cereals, bread, delicious blueberry and chocolate muffins that I saves for snacks. They also have yogurt in to go serving sizes, milk, and a machine despensing orange and apple juice Florida's best :) all the silverware you will need is there plus.. a fruist bowl with different cocktail of fruits.
