You get what you pay for
If you are just staying for one night it's not bad, but I wouldn't recommened longer than that. It's an older hotel that has lots of little things that need to be fixed. Our AC didn't work very well. The window was cracked and had been fixed with a piece of tape. The drain in the shower was slow to drain and you couldn't run the shower seperate from the tub, both would run. The breakfast is the only highlight.

Good breakfast, ok room
The motel is ok, nothing special, it was clean, had a small fridge and a microwave, bed was ok - nothing super nice, but not too bad either. Breakfast was very nice - fresh and plentiful, there were eggs, waffles, and the usual stuff. Kanab is cute small town with a couple of restaurants, coffee houses, and gift stores, but everything closes by 10pm, so make sure you get your food and whatever else you want before then. Only some bored tourists like us were roaming the streets after 10. The motel pool also closes at 10

There is a very nice store for rocks and minerals next door north to Frontier Movie Town on 89. There they sell polished as well as rocks by the pound - very good value. They have local as well as from other areas. There are also the souvenirs made from rocks you find everywhere else. They pack the rocks very well with bubble wrap. We just shipped ours from the post office couple of blocks away.

An animals best friend
Beautiful Property
Hotel is clean and in beautiful condition. Staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious and well equipped. We were in Kanab to adopt 3 older cats from Best Friends.....all went well on the trip home and the "girls" are exploring their new forever home.

2.5 Stars at Best..
On Vacation from Texas seeing a few of the National Parks. Hotel Staff was nice and courteous. The Shower did not drain properly (took at least an hour to drain all the way). Breakfast was overated (compared to previous reviews that we read about their Breakfasts). Several employees stood around and talked to tourists instead of serving guests with Breakfast needs. None of the tables had been cleared off or wiped down (we had to do it ourselves). None of the food seemed to be fresh.

Nice stay! Much better than the 3 star hotel we stay in Las Vegas (Stratosphere Casino Hotel).

The good, the bad and the ugly
The hotel is a bit out of the way of central town and activities. Lot of trucks park in the their parking lot. We were spoiled in Klamath Falls with a beautiful place, popcorn and fruit. Desk said all that has been eliminated. Staff said that mildew around bathtub could not be taken care of because they had been full and caulking needs replacing. All they had to do was spray with chlorox or other types.
