This is a very old motel.

If this represents you in featuring it, then Both you and the motel need to clean up your act. We paid close to $ 500.00 for the 5 nights. We could have stayed any were in a better propert;y for the same or less. Bad experience.

Don't stay there.

We stayed at the Rodeway Inn because we only booked the night before and it was the closest accommodation we could get to Zion National Park. The location was reasonable. It was exceptionally expensive. The hotel itself is very old. An attempt had been made at some reservations but these were very poorly done. The shower didn't work at all and there was no plug for the bath. The room had "that hotel smell". On a positve note the room did have a kitchenette with stove, full size fridge and microwave. (Don't know if the stove worked.) Breakfast wasn't great - it was help yourself in a room far too small for the number of guests. The guy on reception was grumpy.

It was just what we expected. There was a strong hotel smell. Not bad not good just that "hhotel" smell. Fast easy check in. There was a frdige, microwave and stove all which came in handy. It was the perfect distance for us we spent one day in zions hiking took about 15 minutes to get there and about 15 minutes to St.George where we spent some time as well. It was roomy and served its prurpose for our trip. For the price and location you cannot beat it.

Decent hotel.Putrid continental breakfas

The hotel was clean and check in was easy. They advertize a continental breakfast and in strictest terms it was. There was toast, some kinds of cereal, watered orange juice, some kind of wrapped up pastry. There may have been more but I quickly left. As did others.

A place to lay your head

This was an adequate room, tho one of the more expensive motels we stayed in on our recent 4 SW States tour. Decor not very well done, poor selection for breakfast. A place to lay your head for a night, but wouldn't want to stay for more. We had been to Zion and were on our way to Las Vegas

comfort at terrific price

A pillow top mattres and full kitchen. I worked while in town and it was a welcome retreat. This for an average to lower price hotel was excellent- but the breakfast was just plain- cereal and rolls or toast.

Good value

This hotel is a good value for those wanting a basic hotel while visiting Zion. There is a good restaurant across the street that meets the need for travelers. The room was clean, everything worked, and it was an easy in and out. Would have liked a little protein at breakfast rather than all sweets and carbs, but did not want to pay more for that.

Mildew in bathroom

We were incredibly disappointed with the cleanliness and quality of the room. The fridge was so loud we had to unplug it so we could sleep. The room was a chilly 60 F when we arrived and the heater was also so loud it was unthinkable to try and sleep with it on as well. We turned it on and let it run for an hour while our 2 year old watched the heater in fear because it was so noisy. When we went to bed we turned it off and shivered through the night because it got so cold but there was no way our 2 year old could sleep with it on. The bathroom walls were covered with dirt and grime, there was mildew and black mold across the bathroom ceiling and creeping down the walls, the bathtub had part of the faucet ripped out so my child couldn't take a bath (not that we would have let her, the tub looked too dirty). The bathroom walls looked so grimy, even our 2 year old didn't want to go in there. We were given 1 bath towel,1 hand towel and 2 washcloths. My husband and I had to share wet towels in the morning. The bed felt like it was a rectangle stuffed with old sheets it was so lumpy, pillows were also very old and too lumpy to sleep on. We didn't pay much for the room so I wasn't expecting 5 start treatment, but I wasn't expecting to find mildew, years of visible dirt on the walls, not enough towels to shower and a fridge and heater so loud we had to unplug them to sleep. A HUGE disappointment here. We have paid this same price for several other hotels in the Saint George/Hurricane, UT area and have received superior treatment over this location and have loved the other locations. To top it off, we couldn't complain to the staff on site because the sweet lady at the front desk didn't speak English and even had trouble just checking us into our room. We have stayed in a few dives over the years and my husband and I both agreed that this was the worst location by far.
