There wasn't anything particularly wrong with this hotel, it just wasn't remarkable in any way. We were glad it had a pool and hot tub. Breakfast was ok. The room felt small. Serviceable, with polite staff, but nothing to distinguish it in any way.
The staff was very friendly and our room was very clean. The beds were soft and comfortable-they had nice fluffy pillows (both firm and soft), unlike those flat pillows you get at some hotels. Also, the bedding was nice and soft-none of those
hard, heavy bedspreads. We thought the breakfast was delicious. They had a wide variety of hot and cold choices-they have an automatic pancake maker, which I hadn't seen before. The pool water was warm and the spa was even warmer-our kids loved this and they had plenty of nice big towels to dry off before leaving the pool area. We would definitely recommend staying here again and most likely will the next time we are in Cedar City.
Hotel features (5 = best, 1 = worst):
If you are staying in Cedar City for a few days, go to the visitors center on north main street. It is fabulous and they have guides/maps for a million things to do in or around Cedar City. The visitor's bureau has done a great job.
The hotel was as expected and conveniently located. I was surprised that it was a pet friendly hotel but our room and elsewhere in the building we were had no pet odor. The staff was very helpful. The kids enjoyed the pool and the continental
breakfast was convenient for all of us.
