Astro-Tourists launch site
We were "astrotourists" for the big eclispse. The staff provided us with 3 of the needed 4 viewing glasses and helped us track down a fourth. The breakfast was very good (I did manage to resist the fresh doughnuts) and the rooms were big and comfortable. Nice end to a week of hiking the national parks and staying in quaint but small spaces.

Great, If you don't want to use the pool
The rooms are newly renovated and very comfortable. The breakfast is better than average. Most of the rooms have outdoor entrances. The two seperate buildings are a bit confusing. Half our group was on the other side of the street, and had to drive over for breakfast. And using the pool was out of the question, unless they wanted to drive back to the room after swimming. The windows to the pool building are left wide open due to chlorine fumes. It was 28 degrees outside. They stated that the pool is kept at 80 degrees, but is was cold enough even my 4 year old wouldn't swim in it. The chlorine fumes were still enough to make my eyes hurt. Chose not to stay a second night, went to a different motel in town.

Squeaky Clean!
This hotel is brand new so everything is squeaky clean. The beds were super comfortable. The room was nicely decorated. The staff was gracious and kind. Breakfast was great. Who wouldn't love the "make your own waffle" machine? The location is in on the main drag of Cedar City. There are numerous choices for dining. We dined at Sonny Boy's across the street. It was a pleasant surprise to get some good BBQ in Utah. This was a stopping point for us on our way to Bryce Canyon. A bargain for the amenities and ambiance . Check out the magnificent fireplace in the lobby - a work of art!

Shakespeare Festival vacation
This was a great hotel. We found it quiet, roomy, clean and it had breakfast and many amenities which we didn't even have time to use. It was conveniently located to the college where the Festival was held. I was especially happy that they have soft water, since Utah is such a dry state and we were coming from California. My skin didn't dry out like it has on past trips. Great Hotel!

Zions NP visitor
Weekend traveler to Zions NP
Was passing through on my way to Zions NP and on a memorial day weekend could not find reasonable hotel in St George so booked this hotel, experience was pleasant, hotel close to downtown and freeway. Good to go for free breakfast early if you care. Outdoor patio area for breakfast was nice. Lady at front desk was eager to help with suggestions and maps, was very nice to my children too.
