A cold night without hot drink water

We arrived at 6:30 pm in a frozen winter night. The staff was left with the key at the door. The room was ok, but no coffee/tea & hot drink water.

Tired Hotel

Spent two days seeing Bryce Canyon. This hotel needs to be updated. Nothing good to say except that the clerk was nice.

Definitely not luxury

This hotel is a fine place to stay if you're looking for a base of operations for day trips into Bryce, Red Canyon, Kodachrome, and Grand Staircase-Escalante. However, it is definitely a bare bones operation. The beds were hard, the towels and sheets were clean but well-worn, the bathroom badly in need of an upgrade. The pool was located in a shed-type contraption, and was small and shallow. I'd suggest other hotels in the area if you're looking for comfort, but if you're not going to be in your room much anyway, this place is as good as any.

Dining tip: Short drive from hotel

For a nice dinner and delicious pie, travel about five miles west of Bryce Canyon Resort to the Bryce Canyon Pines hotel and restaurant on Highway 12. Less crowded, much more comfortable and better food than the in-house hotel or Ruby's Inn.

Nice location for Bryce sightseeing

Very nice location, just 3 miles from Bryce entrace. The owner is very friendly and understanding. I initially paid for 2 nights. But, I shortened my trip and checked out 1 day earlier. He charged me for only 1 night. What a wonderful guy.

Great location for the price

Nice location and close to Bryce Canyon. One thing to note is the office opens at 7:30am which is the earliest checkout time.

nice place

Very nice room. Very clean and nicely furnished. Reasonably price compared to surrounding hotels. Only complaint was that the description on the website made it seem that all rooms would have Internet access, and that was not the case. Also thought that our room would have a microwave and fridge, but wasn't the case.

Very disappointed :(

To start with when we got there, t.v. very small and control remote didn't work; when complained they said there was no body to reprogram it. The next day to continue on our journey, we needed to take a shower and there was no water. They said their well was not working and that all hotels around the area had the same problem. When asked at Ruby's about this problem they said there was no problem. When I asked to at least they should charge me only half they said they could not do it. We are very disappointed!
