Snow Weekend Getaway

This Lodge was excellent for our needs. We are a family of 4, and loved this Hotel. First, the price was excellent, and the indoor pool and spa were a huge hit with the wife and kids. The room was quite clean and comfortable. The only complaint we had was the restaurant staff and food needed a little help. The waiters seem to be on their own time schedule, which was slow and confused. Which wouldn't be bad except for that the food came back wrong, with missing or different items and the waiter seemed to have no idea that it was wrong. We should have used the kitchen in our room and brought our own food. Overall the stay was great.

Great place to stay!!

I had a really nice stay at this hotel. It was right by the lifts and it was a great value. The staff wasn't that friendly but overall it was a nice stay. They have a pool and a hot tub. I will stay here again for sure!!!

Great out of the way getaway

First of all I just want to say the Brain Head Resort is one of my favorite places to visit. And Cedar Breaks lodge is a must stay if your planning on staying there for awhile. Compared to many ski resorts the price to stay is very affordable. The rooms themselves are very spacious, clean, plenty of amenities (which i love) including a small kitchen area, a gas fireplace, and spacious bathroom which is great for the girls :) The only negative (which right now I'm just being picky) is that the shower head in the bath was not big enough for the huge tub. As far as location you are minute away from hiking or biking trails, ski slopes, brain head peak, cedar breaks monument, and local shopping and eatery s.

Dining tip: Not Applicable

There are a few gift shops at Brain Head that carry basics but if you dont want to live at the restaurants the whole time it would be wise to stop at Cedar City for any type of food or what-nots you may need. And considering that Brain Head is almost 45 min from the nearest town its very wise.

Great Location

Cedar Breaks Lodge is in a great location! Central to most everything Brian's Head has to offer! The rooms are nice, clean & comfortable (except the units do not have air conditioning, but it cools down in the evening if you have the windows open and the ceiling fans on). We stayed in the 1 bdrm villa, which was perfect for my husband & I and our 14yr old son. We also booked the Jr. Villa for our other 2 boys (we would have booked the Grand Villa, but it wasn’t available). The pool area is fun, comfortable & spacious and so is the workout room. We didn't use the Day Spa, but it looked nice. They have a little gift shop with basic amenities and a country store just around the corner with a few more supplies (within walking distance), but I would recommend stopping in Cedar City or Parowan before heading up the mountain if you need any major supplies/groceries.

Dining tip: In Hotel

We ate dinner one night in their cafe...the food was so-so, a bit pricey and the service (while the staff was very nice) was very slow - we waited over an hour to get our food and we were the only one's (party of five) in the restaurant. We think it was because we were there in summer and they're probably a little under staffed during this season. We'd recommend going into Cedar City if you want a good meal or cooking your own if you have a room with a kitchen.

Very pleasant and helpful staff. Room was very cosy, clean and warm. Wish they had a cooking stove in the kitchenette tho. Otherwise, a perfect stay.

Great location, exceeds expectations.

Occasionally we will stay at a more upscale hotel and be disappointed. Everything was in great condition, the pool/hot tubs (2!) sauna/steam room were in great condition, and the overall was fantastic. We did a bunch of mountain biking, and the bike/ski storage area (free) came in very handy! We look forward to returning during snow season!

Pet friendly

The Clarion Hotel College Station had very easy check in. Staff was helpful when I requested additional service. Room was clean, but over all condition of the hotel was some what run down. For example, the door handle to my room, was very loose and needed repair. The location was good, as it was close to many restaurants, and shopping.
