Great Trip- Good Rest
We traveled 3 hours to go to the Texas Renaisance Festival near Plantersville. We were there for the whole day. Willis is about 35 miles from the festival grounds. This is just right for an exhausted couple to come to a stop at last. We got some fast food near by and some drinks from the near-by grocery. The only problem was that the coffee pot in the room was defective and took for ever to brew and leaked. We did not have the free breakfast that was offered. There was no problem with it, we just preferred the offerings at the old spot in town just north on State Hwy 75. We will be back next year Best Western! You are our home away from home after the Festival.

One night stay
Had reservation for non-smoking room and got a smoking. Went back to desk and after a few minutes was given non-smoking room. Very nice staff person. Rooms on Higway side pretty noisy. Price acceptable.

The good the bad and the ugly
We arrived to find out that reservations don"t matter. We were going to be put in a smoking room on the second floor(outside stairs) and were told there were no other rooms available because there was a baseball team staying there.When we told her we couldn't stay in that room we would have to go somewhere else. she found a room non-smoking on the first floor informing us that even though we made reservations two months ahead of time that didn't matter. The room was just OK . when we went to the office to get towels they told us they didn't have anymore till the next morning because the baseball team used them all. when she showed us the room her mother was in the pool. The first morning for breakfast they ran out of syrup for waffles and didn't bother to replace it or buy more. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone or stay there again.
