Travelodge Wichita Falls

Place was okay for a quick stopover, but nothing special. Price was really low so it was worth it.

The pool was not open despite the temperature being in the 90s and the hotel fell short on the promise of a work out room, there was none. It is located in what is considered by locals as the "bad part" of town. Everything is sort of run down and unattractive looking. Despite the uncomfortable bed, keeping me up each night was the sound of a train passing by almost on the hour each hour. The staff were always on the phone when I had a request and would look at me expectantly as if I should just begin to talk at them while they are listening to someone else. Overall, the hotel was a place to sleep and the air conditioning worked which was a plus. The continental breakfast consisted of an orange or banana and a cup of coffee. The review stands at a 2/5 because it really does need that special something.

As I went into my room, the light switch did not work. Toilet also did not function properly. It clogged up twice. Notified the staff, they did not seem to care much.

This was my first time at the Travel Lodge in Wichita Falls. The check-in was quick and courteous. The room was quaint. This hotel is one block over from the Interstate going into WF. It was very quiet and peaceful.

I visited friends in town and had a very clean and comfortable place to stay every night

The staff was friendly and that was it. The heater was not working, there was no hot water in the shower, one lamp was not working and no TV remote. Staff was helpful to make the waffle but it tasted doughy and salty. If you want friendly staff and nothing else then this is your hotel.

I was visiting my husband at sheppard for 6 days. The hotel's ice machine did not work, ever. The maid walked in on me twice, once while I was naked. My bed sheets were never changed. I had to bring my own trash to the maid to dump. The walls were paper thin, I could hear the high schoolers next door pretty much any time they opened their mouths. The internet did not work. It would disconnect you every few seconds. The desk man did not speak english, even less so on the phone. Also the cofee package stuff was opened prior to my arrival.

Stopped on the way home (Greeley, Co) My wife got a bedbug.

well when we got there the front personal was nice, we got to the room and saw 3 big roaches we had to kill and I beleive you would call the smaller ones greman roaches. There where drity ashtray's with butt's in them and tub was not very clean. was afraid to try coffee maker with roaches crawling around room. and was unable to use safe in room and, telephone was not plugged in and I plugged in to use and front desk did not answer early in morning to help use the safe so had to carry my stuff with me and I stayed there friday night and saturday night . I also made sure to not put anything on floor and kept lights on to keep a look out for the roaches. killed two in bathroom and one by phone....

The room was decent - a good place to sleep and shower. The staff could have been a little friendlier however it could have just been a bad day for them. I would recommend this to someone for a quick trip and if I am in Wichita Falls again I probably would stay there [...]
