Lexington Hotel

Have visited this hotel before and will do so again. On this visit, there were a few inconveniences. The workout facility was closed due to remodeling and they were doing repairs to the roof of the hotel. Lots!!! of noise, early in the morning. Did not get to sleep in as I had anticipated on doing due to nail guns and hammering going on. Staff could have warned me that this was expected when I checked in.

Great hotel to stay. Staff friendly. Room clean and food terrific.

We chose this hotel after staying at the Howard Johnsons once before. This hotel was more updated and nicer. Our first room's bathroom overflowed and we were upgraded to a full kitchen suite room. I really enjoyed my stay there... felt safe and was a nice new room. We enjoyed the pool and the breakfast was better than most hotels. Staff was VERY friendly, best I've seen ever. Would love to stay at this hotel again. Price was a LITTLE more than I would have liked but still good. Hotel was in the nice side of town with the mall and shopping very close by.

value stay for the money...had lots of families with kids so elevators and halls were busy but not too noisy...third floor about to get facelift with new carpet etc...very courteous staff and front desk...

[...] we were put in a 2 room suite with a rollaway bed. It was managable, but the hotel was aware they were overbooked and didn't do anything about it until we showed up. The desk clerk was very helpful and pleasant, but this should have been addressed before we arrived. Instead we spent 15 minutes while she had to talk to her manager. The manager then said to put us in the larger room with a rollaway and he would reimburse us for the cost of the room in return for the mistake. We were told he would have a check for us on check out. Of course when we went to check out, the manager not only didn't have a check for us as promised, he couldn't even take time to speak to us himself. The clerk said a check would be mailed to me this week. I am more than frustrated. [...]I am upset with the hotel manager for not handling this as he said he would. And our room, while nice, was not the room we reserved. A rollaway bed is not comparable to a queen size bed in any way (the rollaway had a 3 inch foam mattress). And we had to go to the front desk to get linens not only for the rollaway but for the sofa bed. There were no soap packets in the room and there was a dead cricket in the bathtub. Not big deals, but when combined with the other issues, we will not be staying at this hotel again [...].

One of the nicest hotels that I have ever stayed in. Very clean. Great breakfast and accommodations. Highly recommend.

According to all the reviews the hotel was great. Well our experience was not so great. The room was supposed have extra room and a king size bed, well the room had a queen size bed and was the same size as a normal hotel room. The mini fridge was on the dresser, microwave on the desk and to top it all off the sheets were scratchy. The hotel had two buildings, the one in whiche we stayed in seemed ot be a 'remodel' of a previous older hotel. I was not impressed by the hotel at all.

This was my first time to stay in a Hawthorn Suites hotel, and I will definitely look for other locations when traveling.

good understaffed at check in. desk was freindly but was alone about 6 people where checking in. should have staffed as all parties had reservation

We enjoyed our stay at the Hawthorn Suites in Wichita Falls. My daughter was sick while we were there and the hotel staff was very helpful in providing everything we needed. The room was clean and efficient. It was a good value for the money.
