Travelodge Waco

Hotel was very below average. Price was too high for the room we had. Coffee was left in the pot when we came in. Bath tub didn't drain. All in all not a good experience for the price.

Came to spend a week to visit children living in Waco area. Have stayed in this hotel on several occasions. Like the location. Each time I stay, the quality of the accomodations is less and less. The last time I stayed, the swimming pool was not usable. This time, the water was murkey with bugs floating in the water. The jacuzzi was usable. In the room, the bedding had fleas or lice or bed bugs. Was biten many times. I was given a different room, but no consideration of reimbursement. Guess the bugs were extras.

The jacuzzi wasn't hot this time, said I should've let her know I was coming. Thought I did when I made a reservation!!

Was there visiting family.

The room was clean, staff was friendly. I typically stay in 5 star hotels (Think "Letter H") for business and so I was expecting the worst. However, upon arrival, I was continually impressed. The service and facilities were the same that I would expect for a 5 star hotel. Because this is Waco, I wanted a secure location, this was it! The doors faced the interior (not a common feature in this price range) and the hotel is close enough to the city, yet far enough away to avoid the rough people that walk the streets of downtown Waco. Overall, a great place that we will stay again. Worth every penny, and would've paid more.

A non-smoking room would have been a lot better

I was quite satisfied with the room for great price offered. Wished room would have had a microwave. Beds were very firm which I prefer. No frills. The pool area was quite dreary looking. Free eats in the morning was fair for a small motel. Little Smokies, biscuits, toast, cereals, fruit and standard hot/cold drinks. If all you need is a place to rest your head this serves the purpose. Not a place to go hang out around the pool or lobby. I marked noisy because you could everything in the hall and a good amount of traffic noise outside; however I must note I normally sleep with a fan and did not have one with me and the A/C is the type that shuts on and off... the fan does not keep running.

Actually it was excellent for the price. Looked well maintained. Staff was fine although I didn't really interact with them that much. Free breakfast was adequate. If you're expecting eggs benedict and personal service go to a 5 star. Again excellent value for your dollar.
