staff was great and nice! Hotel was clean and pleasant. Most waco hotels are nasty and ran down but not this one!

yes this hotel is not the Hilton, but for the price this hotel can not be beat if your staying in the Waco area. i first made reservation a year ago with this hotel because it was the cheapest in the area. but after my stay i've definitely been a return customer ever since, the staff is very nice and kind they make you feel at home. and for the price the rooms are hard to beat(spacious, queen bed, fair sized bathroom) plus they come with a mini kitchen(which many more expensive hotels dont come with). my only bad comment about this hotel is the parking is limited(small parking lot), if theres a convention in town or its a holiday definitely get back to the hotel early or there might not be many spaces left if any. but all in all for the cost i give this hotel an 8 out of 10.

no longer a customer
was not even close to where i wanted to be [...]When i checked in my room had no A.C. and when I asked for a another room they gave me a handicap room with a smaller bed.[...] also they did not have coffee in room

Great place to stay
This was our second stay in an ESA in Texas. Even though ESA is designed for longer term stays, we found their rates very competitive, in both instances. Not only were rooms clean, but grounds were too and staff was friendly and helpful.

Just Me
Bears vs Aggies
After checking in, given a key to my room - when I unlocked my door, someone was standing in the room (desk checked me into an occupied room). Received different room, and within five minutes while unpacking in room, someone was at my door unlocking it because desk had checked someone else into the room I had just been given. Finally, after all this was settled, had a decent stay.

Okay not great
Aside from a very hard bed, the room was okay. The hotel overall seemed a little worn and run down. We arrived for a very late check-in and were helped quickly - but given a smoking room instead of non-smoking. The problem was resolved quickly (but we were very tired and didn't like having to deal with it). On the day of check-out, we left early in the morning. The desk was closed with no direction of what to do. We couldn't find anyone and ended up slipping out room key under the barrier. Our experience wasn't bad...just not as good as other hotels have given us. Probably would not choose to stay here again.
