We are located 2 miles North of US 59 off of Loop 463 North, and Highway 77; an hour and a half from Houston, San Antonio, and Corpus Christi, and only 20 minutes from the Gulf of Mexico. Good location

This hotel is a good location the staff is very nice the food is great But the restrooms are too small in the room with a bit dirty

Better than adequate

Older building. Kept up well. Drains could use periodic cleaning, ran a little slow, as many hotels do. Linens clean, A/C worked well, parking excellent. Overall good experience.

Smoky but generally clean

Room smell of cigarette smoke. Sheets and towels were clean, bed nicely pressed. TV was new. Bathtub had some rust stains in bottom. Straight shower curtain rod was old school. For the price, it was okay. If your first or second choice is not available, this is a decent option.

It was better than I expected

It was better than I expected after reading the reviews. It was clean and the employees tried to make it a pleasant experience. It is an old motel. That is the biggest drawback, but I would stay there agaIn. Also, we had complimentary breakfast which was not mentioned anywhere.

Getting Long in the tooth

The room was not good. Carpet was dirty, with even toenails on the floor, bathroom had crust around tub edges and toilet - the rooms are not being maintained. The TV was awful with lines on the screen, the AC was not cold, and the ouotlet where I plugged my PC in had no cover, exposed wires. Basically - a $100 a night dump!!!

Older but Clean and Good Beds

I was participating in an event with friends. Everything was good. I would only wish for a small refrigerator in the room. All staff in the hotel were friendly and helpful

Spiders in the bathroom!

In the course of an evening I killed 4 spiders I saw in the bathroom. When I checked out the next morning and told the clerk about it and suggested they might need an exterminator, she just looked at me; no response, no "Gosh, I'm sorry!"--nothing. I'm NEVER returning to this hotel, and I highly encourage others to stay away.
