This hotel would have been fine except that the air conditioner lines smelled like they had mildew in them and the entire room reeked of mildew/mold. We tried to air out the room by opening the window, but the smell persisted. We had to sleep with the a/c off and the window open to tolerate it. We had a very hot, uncomfortable night. If not for that, the room would have been fine. We stayed in late May. Perhaps in the middle of the summer, once the a/c has been running for a few weeks, it will be better. The staff were friendly, and we could walk both to dinner and a mall.

Great Place, Great Staff
We went over to attend a graduation of a friend of ours who lives in Jakarta, Indonesia. She had been working on her degree for 12 years. We know they stay at Marriots so we booked a room and surprised them her when she arrived, The morning of the gradation a huge storm caused the 9 am outside commencement to be moved to 4PM. The event was held inside a large beautiful church. The Hotel management let us all have late 2pm checkouts and were very understanding and friendly. This hotel has nice clean rooms and a free breakfast that includes Jimmy Dean sandwiches and make your own waffles. All in all a very nice stay and a very friendly staff.

Short walk from hotel
We had a great dinner at the Red Lobster restaurant located next door. It was the best steamed live lobster I have had in 12 years
