disapointed

Well it was really farther away than I wanted to be. so the drive back and forth was a little much. There were a few bugs. alive and dead. And one night people banged on our door asking for money, cause they were desperate. The Hotel clerk said not to open the door and watch the cammeras for any more visitors. Which we had none. The breakfast was only ok. we ended up going out to breakfast two days because we needed something else. and we stoped at a store to buy some fresh fruit. We considered changing. but did not follow through. I do not think I would stay at this one again. The staff was nice though....The pool was a little cloudy also. I have worked at a pool for 14 years. this was disapointing...to me.

Bad neighborhood

The hotel was in a rather rough neiborhood. There was a lot of after dark foot traffic and numerous cars "cruising" the hotel. I would not take my children there again.

Ok conditions.

I liked the fact that the staff was super nice. I didn't like the fact that the continental breakfast was somewhat nasty. The food was somewhat lukewarm and some things tasted stale to me but I liked the fact that they had a microwave and a nearby store so it was convenient to get tv dinners.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

If you like fast food or even a sitdown place, they're not even a full block away from the hotel.

The bad, and the ugly, and the stinky

I went to tyler to registar for my classes, i drove 7 hours and all i wanted was a clean bed to sleep in and a clean shower. When we got our room keys we looked at our beds and saw cigarette burns everywhere, as well as stains and tore sheets. When i called to reserve the room the woman i talked to was extreamly rude and hung up on me. The breakfast bar was ok, but you had to cook your food yourself. The waffles were there frozen, as well as the biscuits. Over all i was very unsatisfied with my expierence here.

Fun Family experience

The suite was excellent, big and roomy which is very important with kids. Beds very comfortable- only problem was no linen for fold out sofa- operator said they would deliver it, but we never got it. Pool was excellent. Room was a little pricey, but isn't everything these days.
