Take in the stunning views of the Gulf of Mexico from the sundeck of the Pearl South Padre -- it is the largest on South Padre Island and an excellent place to catch the sunset. The most popular area of the hotel is the enormous outdoor pool, complete with a swim-up tiki bar, waterfall, Jacuzzi and separate pool for kids. Friendly couple
Not good for price
The room wasn't as clean as we expected. Water in shower wasn't hot. Staff was very helpful and nice. Not good for price. We expected better room for price.

The Pearl is a gem in South Padre
Very nice amenities. The swim up bar was great. The rooms were comfortable. its right on the beach so the location could not be any better. Could not do para sailing coz of the weather but otherwise, a great trip.

A Happy Guest
Very Good Resort!
The room was clean, with balcony to the beach and the bahia. The staff was nice and the food was so good. The swimming pools are excellent!

Fantastic Weekend
It was an excellent weekend I had with my family. Personnel was very nice and gave us the best attention they could possibly offer. I would recommend it.

Good for a weekend getaway.
The bed was comfortable. The a/c unit was a bit loud and the hot water in shower was not working well. Outdoors was very nice, enjoyed the hot tub and heated pool. Staff was very friendly.

New Years Bliss
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms had wonderful views of the ocean and the hotel pool. They don't offer free breakfast so that was a major let down, but other than that our stay was pretty great.
