Days Inn South Padre Island

the desk people were very friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. we enjoyed the free breakfast plus coffee and tea 24/7. the rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable.

Parking a lot is too small. No night lights in the back of the motel at small parking a lot and feel not safe while parked my car there. Breakfast food are terrible and out of date.

When we first got to our room the tv wouldn't work, the refrigerator was frozen, and the microwave was broken. Once we told them they moved us to another room with no problems. My stay was excellent.

Room was great. Beach wedding was held on the back porch of a restaurant because it rained the whole time there, otherwise the event was great.

great hotel the best

We booked 2 rooms connected for 2 nights. The first two rooms were average. Of coarse thier is sand it is an Island. The cord for the AC was loose so it would keep going off and we had to fuss with the cord or come back to cool off and it was off. The beds were comfortable the first night.We decided to stay for one more night. we had to swith rooms cause we had already left. the second night maybe because they put us in handicapped rooms the beds were alot harder. And the television volume kept going out we were trying to watch a movie it was very annoying. The tv is shot they need a new one. i told them and, he said we will have someone come fix it tomfrom 11-3 we were going to be on our way home by then. The first two night good but that last night I hated and the sad part is this was for a handicapped person I think those rooms should be better quality.

The room had a nice cozy feel to it. I felt really comfortable and had the great convenience of being really close to the beach.

Not the best hotel. The rooms were clean, but it did have a mildew odor when we first came in. Anything outside of the hotel was nasty. There was trash in the hallways and it stunk like dried beer. I would recommend not staying in the middle of the island. Try to stay on the north or south side where you are still close to everything. I would even recommend beach camping. There are a lot of good spots for it and the beaches are clean.

We stay in SP for 1 week. The room was very clean and updated. The beds were all new and very comfortable. Dont count on the free breakfast for it is only coffee and mini donuts/cereal. The bathroom was very nice and clean. Most rooms come with a microwave/Frig and stove top which is very convient with children. The only downside that turned me off, was that me and my toddler developed a skin rash, that seemed it was due to the comforters. I've heard that most hotels do not sanitize there comforters due to the cost, the only santize linen, so we tried to avoid the comforters as much as possible. But still had contact with the comforters, which gave us a rash that took 4-5 days to clear up. Due to this I will pay a little more money to stay in a nicer hotel that fully sanitizes all the linen.

This was are first family trip. The hotel was okay but there minor sugar ants, but other then that kids love the pool and free breakfast in the mornings. the wife loved the beds and the location. Will consider this hotel again probably yes, recommend it aswell but will give a heads up on the tile floors.
