Travelodge San Antonio ATT Center / I-10 East

The room was clean but the only problems I had were. The shower or should I say the tub part because it drained so slow that I had to shut off the water so the water could drain so I wouldn't be standing in a tub full of water.this made taking a shower twice as long. The other problem was the fact that there wasn't a iron in the room. I had to go to the front desk and get a iron and was told to bring it right back because they didn't want it left in the room. I thought that was very odd.

This was a nice room when you are on a budget. We will definately consider staying here again.

The hotel continental brunch was disappointing. White bread, white bagels, muffins and 2 kinds of cereal. I sat in the table area for a couple of hours working on the computer. I saw many disappointed people looking over the food. For the first time in my life, the manager of the hotel called the room at 10:15 a.m. and reminded us that the check out time was 11 a.m. This hotel had few guests, so it wasn't like check out on a non-busy Sunday morning was real important. The area where the hotel is located is a very low-income area. However, you get what you pay for, 3.8 miles to the Alamo/River Walk, right off the highway for easy exit, clean room with a refrig. and microwave.

This hotel was in the middle of nowhere near a bad neighborhood. All restuarants are on the West side of San Antnio. The hotel wasn't kept up very well. And the pool was broken.

The rooms are pretty big and cleaner. It was a non-smoking room with a pleasant smell inside it. We came after the tiring hot day in downtown in scorching heat of 101 F and turned the AC on after arrival. It didnot took much time to cool down. Pool facility are decent too. Overall a good place to be. Moreover it is very close to downtown Alamo and at a walkable distnace from AT&T center. The internet access is free and is having a good connectivity and speed. Our room also had a safe.

Room was perfect for what we needed it for...only to sleep. 5 minutes from downtown - very convenient!

We tried to find a hotel not so far from downtown San Antonio and found this place. The reviews weren't good but overall the average rate was more than 2.5 so we decided to book it but we should have listened to these reviews. We have never stayed that terrible hotel before - toilet had dirty stain all over, no towels, shampoos, conditioners, soaps, there were so many boxes and unnecessary stuff in the breakfast area, and NO internet. I know you rate this hotel "2" but I think you should rate "0".

Very bad part of town

the reviews were not that great, however, i found that the hotel was ok.. it wasnt great or first class, but it had everything we needed.. except that the toilet was dirty and dingy .. that was one definite mminus.

Uneventful, in fact, I will never stay at a Travel Lodge again. Since, I had prepaid for my room, the clerk/owner made it a point to not only make a copy of my driver's license but also a copy of my credit card, just in case there was damage to the room. I did not appreciate that. Apparently, he does this with all those people that make reservations at his motel. I am going to make it a point to notify my bank and also the Attorney General's Office. This is not good business? I am going to make my own reservations, and not go thru another agency.
