Travelodge San Antonio-Alamo/Riverwalk/Conv. Ctr.

Well, I didn't expect much from this place. There was a free breakfast and close to the Alamo. Other than that, it wasn't that great. I think there were bed bugs and the air conditioner was pretty loud.

Basic, clean room at a great location accessible to downtown San Antonio.

We were disappointed with this old and dated motel. Check-in etc was OK, sorroundings in need of a make-over. Noisy A/C in room. Also we were led to believe this was a hotel, not a motel. For the price we paid this was not worth the mony at all. A mistake to choose this one.

First thing I noticed was that half the lights didnt work, the door wouldnt shut on its own. There as hair in the bathroom that didnt belong to me. I wasnt sure whether to take a shower before or after I got slept in the bed. Never again. This hotel should be removed from the [...]site.

The room was hot, turn on the aircontention but only the fan was working , the TV wasn't working they said the cable was out in the area. Told the office staff about the problem. I went to walk around San Antonio for 3 hours and when I came back to the room nothing was repair. I went to talk to office, the person at the front desk was of NO help and there other poeple having problems to with keys and there rooms. Told the lady I wanted to check out, she did call another motel, it was a Super 8 but was it was about a mile from the down town area.(On their behalf I have been on vacation for last two weeks & stop at 6 motels and two the TV didn't work, I guess I was in bad mood)

I am a budget traveler and so booked this motel for the lowest price. The location is great and for anybody who likes to walk, downtown is a lovely stroll along the river walk. BUT, our room had roaches(we killed about 3-5 every night) so you have to have the stomach for this if you want the cheap price! The room was shabby and grounds were grimy and dreary.

I like the place but one mistake was that I lost my digital carema,probably in that hotel.

The motel is not far from the Riverwalk, but it is far from a busy area of the Riverwalk. The room was fine but the outside of the property is dirty. The ice machines and vending machines were covered w/ dirt too. For the price it wasn't all too bad.

The staff was very helpful. Close to river walk. Room was old and worn out, which would have been ok except it was not clean: hair in one of the beds, crackers on the floor, splatters on the door. Worst of all-a bad smell.
