Good and Basic
We visited downtown San Antonio. The name of the Hotel is really a misnomer since the only way to get to downtown if you are not driving is by taxi.....cost at least $15.00 each way. It is really not anyway near th River walk.

The only dining nearby is Whopper Burger, across the Highway. It is good if you like burgers all the time. In order to get to other resturants etc., you need a car, or to plan on paying out a lot for taxis.

There was no real problems with the hotel. It was clean and the people were friendly. I was very disappointed with the wording about this motel... It said Riverwalk area ... to me, that meant it was on the riverwalk ... Well, it is not ... It is several miles away..

Friendly front desk/convenient local
Gentleman at the front desk was friendly and helpful. Room was ordinary but clean and it was very convenient to what we needed to do in S.A.

Problems with mgt.
Card key inactivated each day and had to be renewed. Lights in room did not all work carpet dirty Remote did not work Clock did not work Front desk understaffed

Very Friendly Staff
Hotel Staff was GREAT! rooms were very well maintained and allways clean. Not much in the way of breakfast, and the location is in the middle of nothing.
