Great couples getaway/Great Location
Easy access to anywhere you want to go. Short walk to the heart of the riverwalk, where all the bars and restaurants were! When we arrived we were given a corner king room on the 30th floor with a great view of the riverwalk! The restaurants right outside the hotel were excellent! We will stay here again!

Overall, a great stay
Great location, clean, friendly staff. Only detractor was charging for in room wi fi. Lots of much cheaper hotels provide this free. The wi fi was supposed to be free in the lobby, but access was spotty and the staff did not know how to fix the problem, no IT guys on duty after hoursI guess.

Short drive from hotel
Great family Mexican restaurant.....La Fonda, on Main street. A very easy 10 minute drive. Food on the river walk is overpriced and not as good as around time. Alamo Cafe on hwy 281 is also superb, don't miss their fajitas

Weekend getaway
The room was good and the location was great. TV reception was very poor. We did not watch a lot of tv but if something important was on then it would have been disappointing. Hotel parking is very expensive

Short walk from hotel
Park the car at the hotel and leave it there. It is easier to get a cab if the distance is a little longer than walking because parking is very expensive.

Weekend Getaway
My girlfriend and I stayed here for one night so we could visit the river walk and go to a basketball game. We really enjoyed our stay. Great view on the 31st floor of San Antonio. My only complaint was that there was not an ice bucket in our room. I always like to get ice when i stay at a hotel. This really wasn't a huge deal, but it would have been nice. The hotel was really quiet and the bar downstairs was full of people at night, so we enjoyed sitting down there and people watching over a few drinks. All in all it was a great time.

New Year's Eve
The staff was very helpful and friendly. My only disappointment was the size of the room and bathroom. We have stayed here before and had a much larger room and bathroom. But guess I can't complain too much as it was New Year's eve and the hotel was full. We did have a good view of the riverwalk.

Marriott Rivercenter
We opted to upgrade to a suite and found it extremely roomy for 2 adults and 3 kids ages 16, 14 and 5. We ordered a roll away bed and there was enough room for everyone and no one was cramped in a corner like we have found sometimes at other hotels. The staff was wonderful and our 5 year old smashed her fingers in the door as we were preparing to leave and the staff was kind enough to get her an ice pack for our ride home. The breakfast buffet was even delicious- some hotels only have fair buffet's but the Marriott had a great variety and it was fresh.

Shopping tip:
Short walk from hotel
The Riverway Mall is attached to the hotel and we were able to do some last minute Christmas shopping without having to find a parking place or to even go outside in the cold weather! It was great.

Great Hotel
Nice place, highly recommend. However, we booked a king room on Orbitz but got stuck with a Double Room. We ate dinner at the hotel restaurant...It was excellent!
