Nothing special

The first room we were given, dirty sheets, floor and desk had crumbs and paper laying around. The a/c did work. We called and after a 20 min. Wait we called the front desk to find if they had found us a clean room, they said they thought housekeeping was doing that. We finely got anew room with a/c that worked and sounded like a washing machine the whole night thru.

Nothing really to complain. The staff are first class top of the line. The only problem is that the hotel dont have flat screen tv, free wifi in the room and jacuzzi.

Nice accomodations

I stayed at the San Antonio Marriot on a business trip. Arrived very late, but the front desk staff was very helpful and courtious in getting me into my room quickly. CAUTION: do not use their NW Loop I-410 address for directions on your Garman. It recognizes the address, but then sends you to SW Loop, in an industrial district, before you reconize you are going the wrong way. Call the hotel for the Cherry Ridge street adress to get to the hotel. They did inform me after I called they had heard of this issue from others!

Not bad

There was basically luke warm water available. But, the room was very clean, with a comfortable bed and lots of good sized towels provided. This was a great bargain for San Antonio and within easy driving distance for anything you'd want to visit on your trip.

Nickel and dime

Food was good in restaurant. Work out facility was better than most. Mattress was extremely comfortable. Room was clean. Property needs update renovation. Was extremely dissappointed to find I was being charged for WiFi & bottles of water. I travel quite a bit and not being charged for these items is pretty common. Seems like Marriott should be more ahead of the times that most. All in all was an "average" experience. Side note: being unfamiliar with San Antonio, it is a very awkward property to get into.

Did not live up to the Marriott Name

I stayed here for 1 night during my Military PCS to San Antonio. I had to write a review about this one because it was not where near worth the money!!! The location is good, right off the highway, the staff was nice, food was just ok (not worth the price though, as you can easily make it at home, with better success). My biggest issue was the room itself! For the amount of money you spend for the room, at least have a flat screen TV! It was an old Phillips tube TV. Stains were on the linen, there was not a fridge or microwave in my room. The bathroom was spacious, but the shower didn't have a lot of pressure, but it got the job done. I have an issue when there are not bags in the trash canisters! That tells me everybody else's trash germs are still inside the room. I ended up cancelling the rest of my nights at there and booked at a different hotel, which was cheaper and WAYYYYYY better. I guess in this case i just paid for the name :( . I've stayed at other Marriotts that were a lot better and worth the price, so maybe this was just a fluke incident. Oh and there was not a lot of space at the outside entrance. Cars were waiting to try to download their luggage closer to the door. The room I was in had a window that faced toward the interior of the hotel! Not outside. So if you want to look at the scenery of San Antonio, make sure you request it! The inside of the hotel was really nice though, with water fountain and pool. All together...NOT WORTH IT!!!!!!
