Motel 6 San Antonio North

They were unable to give us a double on the ground floor, and we had a man in a wheel chair with us, so we ended up with a single on the ground floor for 3 people. The staff assured us they'd bring extra blankets, they never came, we killed 3 cockroaches, and there was only 1 bath towel and 1 hand towel - no wash cloths at all. Also, 2 doors down from an Adult Theater - just where we wanted to stay (sarcasm).

The hotel was not close to any of the main attractions. The same person checked us in and out. She was not friendly. The room had a strong unpleasant odor, the sheets were stained, and there were no waste baskets. The television buttons were broken and there was no remote. A front desk person brought a remote only to find that the cable connections were poor. That person was very friendly. We checked out in the middle of the next day because the smell was so bad (no refund). When I tried to explain the problem to the front desk person she walked away from the window. They do have a pool, vending machines, and a laundry area.

when we first got there the room was not paid for it had just been booked so there goes $47 for that when it should of been taken care of . the policy of the hotel didnt let us check in til 2pm so we waited 1 hour and 35 mintues in the parking lot. finally when we got checked in the room so small the tub had a ring around no trash can in bathroom. the tv channels were so boring like bad cable but other then that everything else was good.......

STAFF WAS REAL FRIENDLY AND GREAT CHECKED IN AND OUT WITH NO PROBLEMS AND WAS NICE AND QUIET

The staff are helpful. The Showers are as nice as they can be in a motel.

It was a good hotel with a warm welcome. Will always prefer this hotel. All communication were fast and best. I will definitely recommend this hotel to my friends. It met my expectations at best value.

We booked one night here because it was affordable and it was in the middle of the two locations we were going. That was a great mistake. We were only in the room about 10 hours, long enough to sleep and shower. We would not be able to stomach it any longer. Our very small hotel stunk horribly bad. The smell of mildew was so insanely strong. It was unbareble, it's not your typical bad, old musty and run down motel smell, it was horrific. I began to become concerned about deadly mold spores, we couldn't get out of there fast enough. What was causing the mildew, was the light fixture in the shower leaked, when the people above us took a shower, which seemed frequent. The smell was followed by dirty bedding, disgusting hairy dirty ice bucket, dirty towels(muddy like someone wiped their feet on), no shampoo, very loud squeeky bed (so loud it woke you up), TV remote didn't work (think batteries were dead)and people banging upstairs all night. I would not stay in this motel ever again, even if it were $5.00 a night, sat next door to my destination and the check in lady didn't seem clueless.

I came to San Antonio to meet up w an old friend which turned out ok. I wish the room had an iron board and iron...big deal especially after unpacking folded clothes. The trip was ok overall just because of the price.

The Motel was next door to XXX Video store and backed up to a railroad track. The first night I didn't sleep at all. Every I dozed off a train would come by and blow its horn for 2 minutes. The second night we changed rooms to one farther from the tracks and it was much quieter. The quality of the room is what you expect from a Motel that costs $50. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I wouldn't stay there again though because of the location and the noise.

Building smells old and bed was also too old inculding bedspread. Toilet needs to be cleaned better.
