Fiesta San Antonio
Great location for fiesta week in San Antonio. Beds and pillows were comfortable, but bedspread had cigarette hole. Receptionist was not nice, but the owner was VERY NICE! Could've been a little cheaper for the quality. Good thing they had free breakfast.

Although the staff was really friendly, the room was pretty bad (Phone cover missing, old tv, blow dryers at front desk). To be fair, it was average for what I paid. Ended up at the comfort inn and suites on live oak street which was PERFECT.

Weekend Getaway
We were in town for the weekend. We checked in of Friday and checked out on Sunday. The staff was friendly and tried to be as helpful as possible, it was a very busy weekend. Our toilet was leaking, we notified the receptionist and it was fixed almost immediately. The room was average, but not spotless. When housekeeping came they didn't change the bed linens, they simply made the bed and no vaccum was used. The room could have used a little more attention i.e. dusting or wiping counters, cabinets, and mirrors.

BAD TIME

A Great Value
We were in San Antonio to see my brother graduate from Lackland AFB basic training. The hotel was older, but clean and the employees were friendly and helpful. It seemed like they were in the process of fixing the elevator, but it worked fine. In the morning there was a nice breakfast spread. We stayed in a suite, with one queen sized bed and a fold out couch. The room was big enough for three people (which was what we had) and the bathroom was plenty big enough. Room had a nice cabinet to hang clothes, and several mirrors (excellent for two women getting ready in the morning). This hotel was not a luxury hotel by any means, but clean, simple, and convenient. It was close to the airport, all tourist attractions, and the base. Nothing was more than a 10 minute drive. Linens were clean and changed daily, and contrary to other reviews it is NOT in a bad neighborhood. It is in an older industrial neighborhood off the freeway. There are no houses here or bums on the streets, just older buildings. Very affordable, would stay again if in the area.

Bring or rent a GPS, the freeways in San Antonio are confusing and the other drivers are kinda nuts. It really helps to know what lane to be in for your exit, and where you are going. Will save you loads of time and gas!

People were nice...hotel needs work.
Elevator had several large broken tiles. Folks were very freindly, but my room always smelled of mildew and the sheets were not clean when I arrived. They may have been "clean", but had stains. Ooof.
