the room was clean, a little outdated, but clean..the staff was VERY helpful and very personable..the continental breakfast offered each day was kept stocked..lots of military personnel families stayed and everyone was very friendly..pretty conviently located..the Denny's next door was one of the best I have ever been to..and again everyone was very friendly, accommodating and helpful..I would stay there again or recommend it...

all the restaurants around the area were very good..very tasty..the Longhorn Steakhouse was excellent, as was the Chili's across the street and the Denny's next door is one of the best I've been to..all the food was very flavorful..

The hotel manager, [...], was beyond terrific. The rest of the staff should be instructed in intuitively knowing what needs to be done before the customer has to request something. An example was the coffee pots were empty and several customers had to ask the managers, other than [...], to get the coffee pots filled. The hotel was close to our convention, however, it is old with cracked sinks and tubs. For our purpose it was okay.

Great place to stay!!
My husband and I were attending our sons graduation from BMT at Lackland Airforce Base. The hotel was about 7 min away from one of the many entrance gates on SW Military Dr. The complimentary breakfast and wireless internet connection was a plus. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting San Antonio for a BMT graduation. Thanks La Quinta Inn!!

Very Friendly Staff
Although I felt the neighborhood sucked, the hotel itself was nice and the staff was particularly helpful and nice. For that reason, I would very much recommend La Quinta Inn South Park.

There is a mall and many other shops nearby. Helpful hint? If you are caucasian, do not go out in this neighborhood after dark.

Terrible, terrible, terrible
Dirty bathroom floor, dirty beds asked for sheets to be changed was not done. The sheets had small black hairs all over them, like pet hair. Only 2 towels for the 3 of us & 1 washcloth two mornings in a row. Had even asked for more twice. Poor, poor, poor room quality. You couldn't even use the pool, the pump was out. The location was in very scary neighborhood. Would not reccomend to anyone EVER.

My review of La Quinta Inn San Antonio South Park
Hotel staff made every effort to accommodate our needs. The hotel maintenance was okay from our standpoint but I did hear other individuals having problems with water in the bathroom. The hotel personnel were working with the individuals to fix the issue. The upkeep and appearance was good, except for trash that collected under the stairwell. The Location was good and easy access to area attractions. The neighborhood wasn?t bad except for local road construction, which is just about anywhere in the U.S. The room cleanliness was very well and kept that way by the staff. The hotel check-in went smoothly. We were lucky that we had reserved a room as they were turning people away due to the festivities going on in the area. We were not around the hotel enough to us the amenities, but the wireless internet service worked. All in all, I would stay at this location again and recommend it to friends.

very friendly
the room was very clean the ladies at the front desk were very polite we were always greeted with a smile. I would highly recommend anyone who ask that they stay at this location. We will definatly book our next stay there. It was central to everything we wanted to doyet still tucked away from the heavy traffic downtown.Plenty of dining places and entertainment to keep you busy.
