It isn't in the splash zone, but the La Quinta Inn San Antonio SeaWorld/Ingram Park hotel is just a short trip to Sea World and all its aquatic delights. Spring break vacationer
An average hotel
From the pictures I viewed, I thought the rooms would look better. The pool was freezing! Very disappointed about that. Great location however. Staff was very friendly.

Too Much Noise and Other Stuff
The rooms were not well sound-proofed and each room has a door and window to the outside, in other words, there are no interior corridors. 1: noise from the highway was a lot louder because of the exterior door. 2: you could hear every person who walked back and forth to their rooms on all three levels. 3: the hotel is next to a 24-hour restaurant so during the middle of the night, trucks would make deliveries. I was there for 3 days. The first day, there was no shampoo. The second day, there were 2 bottles of shampoo. The third day, there was no shampoo again and used towels were not replaced with new ones. Also, the coffee and condiments were not restocked either. Lastly, aside from making the beds, wiping the sink, and emptying the trash, the room was not cleaned well. The breakfast room was too small to handle the amount of hotel guests.

Excellent place to stay!
Everything about our stay was perfect. We were in town for my Daughters graduation from USAF Basic Training and it was important to be close to Lackland AFB. Beds were comfortable, showers hot at all times, flat screen TV, free Wi-Fi, close to good restaurants and the airport. I couldn't have asked for better!!!

Okay I guess...
My first room was a non-smoking room with a king sized bed, but the person who stayed before me smoked in it. Us non-smokers can tell immediately if someone smoked in a room or not. They moved me into a room with 2 full beds, which is all I really needed. The beds were okay. Housekeeping does need to do a better job cleaning though, there was hair on the wall in the bathroom that was not my own before I took a shower. There was also no trashcan in the room I stayed in, so I had to as for one. The staff is friendly, I would just suggest they get new room service staff.

Military basic training graduation
The location of the hotel was great. Only 6 miles from the airport and 4 miles from the airbase. Definitely will book this hotel again on the next trip

It was a great experience
We stayed there for my Husband Air Force graduation weekend and the service was great. We received great attention and the service was awesome, we got everithing we asked for instantly. Thanks La Quinta in at Sea World:) We had a Denny's at the parking lot and a walking distance Wendys and Mc Donalds:)

Good for the money
The check-in was excellent. Booking on line really made the process easy. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Seems like a lot of families with love ones graduating from BMT use this hotel for the location. I was please and would deffinately stay again.

Easy to find, great value
I checked in late (around 11:30PM) and as I pre-paid through orbitz it took less than 2 minutes to check in and get to my room. It was tough to find a parking space that late but other than that everything else was a breeze. Checkout was even easier in the morning. Breakfast was good and the diningroom area was quite large compared to other La Quinta's I've stayed at. There is lots of shopping around the hotel and a big mall. It's a great location and took only 20 minutes to get to the riverwalk from there.

okay experience
clean rooms, they don't clean coffee pot or restocks coffee supplies in the room. No wake up call when asked for.
