La Quinta Inn & Suites San Antonio Convention Center

I was a little concerned after reading other reviews, but our experience was good, we checked in early, staff was very friendly and helpful. room was nice and comfortable, could use "real" coffee cups to go in the rooms, plastic cups just don't get it.... My fiance loved that Macy's and the Rivercenter Mall was across the street with easy access to the Riverwalk. Dont bother to Valet park as the self park lot is only a few steps away. Also the hotel is in a good location with highway access to explore the city. We will have no reservations about staying here again.

Hotel staff was what made this a great place to stay. They were always willing to accommodate our needs. The free breakfast buffet is fantastic. Crowded, but organized and outstanding selections.

employees specially the manager needs to be there for the guests specially when there is a concern of the service or the room. the bathroom curtains needs to be changed i did not liked the smell coming from it.

We were attending a convention at the convention center we were just 1 blk to walk and right across from the Riverwalk. Location is super and all the staff was great and a free breakfast daily you sure can't beat that. Would recommend this to anyone who is planning on going to San Antonio

Our experience was very good. The hotel is well located and the atmosphere is good. You can walk to go shopping or visiting truistic places.

Hotel is in an excellent location and the price was right. Denny's is next door, mall across the street. Breakfast was adequate but not fantastic. Have to use paper plates and plastic utensils, and long wait for the waffle machine. I liked having the microwave and refrigerator in the room. Room was never cleaned very well or bed made very well. Bed sheets kept coming out because the mattress pad did not fit the bed. Big stain on the sheet. There was a sewer smell sometimes in the room.

The hotel was easy to get to right off the freeway. The people at the counter were excellent and professional. We asked about getting sodas and other items and they provided not only great directions but the places they suggested were reasonably priced and on the mark. The room was a good size, clean and easy to get to. Had to pay for prefered parking but it was very close to the entrance. We asked for a smoking room and got it but there were no ashtrays so we improvised. Across the street from river walk and the mall, one block away from the Alamo. I would recommend and visit again.

The staff is very friendly. The hotel lobby is really nice, clean and inviting. The rooms and restrooms are a good size. Vallet and self parking parking are very expensive - $22 and $18 per night, respectively. They might make up for the reasonable room rates with parking charges....But, the location is convenitent. Overall it was good.

Staff was always helpful! The parking staff, maintenance people, desk personnel and breakfast providers: all were very helpful and had caring attitudes. I used the business center several times, enjoyed the jacuzzi one evening, felt the breakfast buffet had lots of options, had no problems in the parking lot (there is a per-night fee...oh, well). We came to San Antonio to attend the opera; the hotel's proximity to the Convention Center/Cockrell Theater allowed us to walk! Great location and affordable.

my expierence was great. The hotel room was perfect equipt with a flat screen tv, fridge, microwave, blow dryer. The bed and pillows were very compfy. The hotel bar didnt open till 5 and not the biggest menu and no room service. The pool and hot tub were awesome! except it closed at 10pm. The staff was overall vry nice except for maybe one but i know everyone has a bad day. Very nice.
