Great deal
Very comfortable bed, loved the flat screen with HD channels. Breakfast was good and convenient. Parking lot was super packed only disadvantage needs a bigger lot.

everything but the bathroom
everything was good, the ubication was perfect for shoping justa block from northstar mall. The bathroom wasnt clean at all, we stayed there for two night and the second day the bathroom wasnt cleaned, it was still like the day before, but for the price and ubication everything was ok

just for the weekend
I stayed in San Antonio for the weekend getaway. I booked a room thru Orbitz via internet. The place was located right next to the highway going either north to south and east to west. The hotel was just a few blocks away from Northstar Mall, Walmart, and other common used stores. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and super cool. The days were three digit temperatures. I would definitely stay again. The free breakfast was a plus.

Average or slightly below
The front desk clerk was not a happy person. The beds in the two bed rooms were very small. The electronic key system is a fail...we had three rooms and all had trouble with the entrance cards. Seems you have to say a little prayer before inserting and hope that they work.

This is a good location for San Antonio if you have a car. It would be a bad one if you were on foot; however, they do provide shuttle services to local restaurants.

The staff was amazing..I had actually left from a previous hotel because of such poor service and added a day to my reservation at La Quinta.....the receptionist,,Mariah seeing how tired I was allowed me to check in early ...and even let me inspect the room to make sure I was satisfied ....there was also a gentleman working there who helped me get my luggage to my room and offered to unload it for me....after having been awake all night at a very disturbing hotel I was exhausted ...and was welcomed like family ..I will definetely use this hotel again!!!

great location for the price
the hotel was okay staff were very helpful the free shuttle to dinning and shopping was great. The only draw back was that there were so many dogs in the lobby and in and around the hotel. for some one with allergies and asthma, this made for an uncomfortable stay.
