Great weekend getaway for the price
We went for a long weekend to see the Alamo and riverwalk. It was beautiful. We stayed near the airport because we were returning home early in the morning and the hotel offered a shuttle starting at 4am. The bed in the hotel room was very comfortable, the room was very clean and the staff could not be more helpful. Would stay there again.....

The Alamo and riverwalk were just a short distance from the hotel Parking downtown San Antonio was quite easy. There were several garage close to the riverwalk. Downtown had many attractions and was well worth the trip.

Convenient to Trinity University
Went to see my son at college over the weekend. The hotel is perfectly located for easy fast access to and from Trinity University. Clean, updated - Great value for the price. And, good cable TV variety.

What a deal!
We needed a room near the airport to take an earlymorning flight. The price on [...] was great andwe were wonderfully surprised at the quality of thehotel. The exterior, lobby, hallways and room wereall immaculate and stylish. The staff was courteousand helpful, offering to take us to any restaurantwe wanted ( there are a few within walking distance). The linens were upscale and the bed was very comfortable. Free airport shuttle got us to our flight after a nice free breakfast buffet.

Long walk from hotel
We did not need to eat, but fellow travelers mentioned several restaurants/fast food places a few blocks away - must go underneath the freeway. Take the shuttle.

airport hotel not that bad
1st night had neighbors who kept the TV on max all night, but after they left, it was very nice

LaQuinta, really is the bright side!!
My stay at the LaQuina by the airport was absolutley WONDERFUL!!! I really enjoyed the courtesy hotel shuttle which was always prompt. The staff was friendly and more than helpful with answers about the city and different attractions. I enjoyed the complimentar breakfast that everyone was sure to find something they liked. The hospitality did a wonderful job in cleaning the hotel as well as my room every day. I really liked the location of the hotel, extremely convenient!! I am so glad I chose the La Quinta to wake up on the bright side during my vacation in San Antonio!

My stay
Walmart is close by. Rooms are small and dusty. Some tv channels don't work. Confusing location. Breakfast is really plain and bland.

nice weekend
Hotel was very restful and quite. The only thing I wish they had was a free newspaper on the weekend I was there.
