Never would say here again.
Our hotel room to start off would not lock properly.. When it was locked there was about an 1/2 inch space on the side of the door that you could see in from. I had to put the chair by the door to fl save. I found 3 pairs of dirty old socks in the drawer. The fire alarm from the room was broken and was under the drawer from the telephone. We stayed there 2 nights and after the first night they cleaned it and when we got back we had no towels. The front desk said they had no towels and that i had to wait till the morning when housekeeping got in.

OMG! Not good.
The room is not want I am used to. I thought I would book a room for much lower than I usually do. Just thought I would try it. Lets just say you get what you pay for. The tv remote was actually held together with tape. Stains throught and smelled a little funny.

OMG!
I usually stay in $100 rooms and should have expected what I got. Let me just say the back of the remote for my room was held together with tape and the tag used for a shirt that said 3XL. I swear to GOD! It smelled a little funny and they ran out of ice. The staff was great but i won't stay again.

Awful and ordinary stay
This place was very close to where we wanted to go but it was also in one of the worst places in the city. Trashy neighborhood and a lot (I mean a lot!) of homeless and gang-bangers wandering. When we got there the staff didn't even acknowledged us, we seemed more of a burden than customers when we interrupted their chat. When we finally got our room it wasn't a non-smoking as I requested. When I approached the desk clerk he insisted it was in fact a non-smoking room and was confrontational. The room reeked of smoke! The sheets were moth-eaten and had suspicious marks which they did ended up changing fortunately. The room was tiny but it was also cheap. The TV was broken and made a loud ringing noise, it was a nuisance. The window sills were also broken and didn't come in contact with the wall so there was an excessive outside noise that simply could not be quelled due to the train and, either cop cars or ambulances, that seemed to pass once every hour. Continental breakfast was decent and comparable to other hotel chains. This was by far the most uncomfortable stay in my life. Although it was cheap I still feel I paid more than what I got.

Cheap but not recommended
Hotel is down the street from a jail. Heard police sirens and trains all night long. Fire Alarm went on at 7:50 AM because someone burnt toast downstairs and they were not able to turn it off for over 32 min. Over all it was unpleasant but cheap. You get what you pay for.

good
The room was nice. In a good area close to drive to the river walk and close to the expressway. Ugly abandoned building outside which kind of freaked me out. Good price if you are planning on just using it to sleep.

I loved the hotel and ist location very much but the maids did not change the sheets on bed , and the reason why I know is because my sister left her footies in the bed at the foot under the spread and they were still there but that;s ok because we had changed rooms that morning so I guess they thought they didn't have to changed the sheets, but overall I loved the hotel. We had to leave early because we were able to get a flight back sooner so we requested a refund for 4 days.
