Fab Hotel with modern accents.
I loved the one night stay at this hotel and the staff. Room was perfect and noticeably clean. The location is surrounded by many restaurants, fast food chains, and shopping centers. Only complaint is of the traffic that piles up on both sides of the highway but thats beyond the hotels control. Just throwing that information in there for the people who have very little patience in traffic. Overall, I would definitely stay here again.

50th Anniversary in SAT
Spacious clean room. Used the following appliances: TV, AC, iron, refrigerator with no problems. The beds are comfortable. Nice lobby and friendly staff.

Unfortunately, there's a lot of construction which causes long delays at the intersection of Loop 1604 and Hwy 289.

Better than 3 stars...
I stayed at the Hyatt Place Stone Oak while on a business trip. My usual hotel nearby was booked, so I decided to try the Hyatt Place. The staff was extremely helpful and welcoming (Miguel is the MAN!), and I liked the option of the complimentary cold buffet breakfast, or having a moderately-priced hot option like a waffle, breakfast burrito, or other item. In fact, that's one of the features I liked best about the Hyatt Place. They have a really nice selection of 24-hour food options that will not break the bank. Nothing fancy, but really satisfying snack and sandwich fare. The workout facilities are modest, but equipped with excellent video-integrated treadmills, an elliptical, and free weights, though an exercise ball would have been a nice addition. I was offered a corner room which I'd wholeheartedly recommend. The room is quite large and really nicely laid out. The only complaint was a faint musty smell that I detected when I first walked in the room. I mentioned it to the front desk staff, and they offered me another room right away. Frankly, it was so faint that I didn't notice it after a couple of minutes, so I stayed in the room I was originally assigned. All in all, the hotel offers pleasant amenities in a very comfortable environment with an upscale feel.

GREAT STAY!
Hotel staff was wonderful, very nice and polite. Room was excellent, cold and quiet. Only issue we had was with the cleaning staff, room was not 100% clean, needed to be vacuumed better and trash picked up out of floor.

Great hotel
