Hyatt Place San Antonio/Riverwalk

Loved our stay. Room was clean and very large. Only negative is how small the shower/toilet area was but not a deal breaker. Overall definitely will stay again. Oh and awesome breakfast too!!

Large room with sitting area and separate sleeping area. Mini-fridge on and empty for stashing personal food choices, complementary coffee (and coffee maker) in room. Also free parking, free wifi and complementary breakfast in the morning, within walking distance of Riverwalk and city center. I wish I could have stayed longer! Only thing missing was an in-room safe, otherwise this would have earned a 5 star rating.

Great location, great value. Right on the river walk, but away from the main part by a short walk. FREE parking. FREE internet, FREE Breakfast all add to to the great value you get here. Hyatt Place hotels have that perfect balance of full service hotel and the extras (such as those listed above) at a very good price.

This is a great small place to stay in San Antonio. It is only a block away from the trolley stop. If you don't mind a bit of a walk, you can easily get to the city's main attractions. The staff was very hepful and the room was clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast included fresh fruit, cereals, yogurt, eggs, toast, bagels and English muffins, as well as coffee, juices, milk and teas. Free parking was an added bonus. We would definitely stay there again.

Was very good experience. The only thing is that it was a little further from main riverwalk than I thought. Overall it was a good little vacation

Chose the hotel because of free parking and claim that you can walk right out to River Walk (you do walk right onto it and then take a very arduous path, especially at night, to the main centers). I ended up on the absolute end of the River Walk. Area looked like industrial dead zone. Very weird food service set up--no room service but you can order off small menue and come pick food up. Be prepared to wait as the front desk answers the phone, takes the order and apparently cooks food. Waited over an hour for a ready made salad and cup of soup. Stay somewhere else.

We enjoyed our stay so much; the staff was great. Out the back door and you're on the river; out the front and south to Southtown. We came especially to see the luminarias but, unfortunately, the rain washed them out - guess we'll have to try again next year.

We were greeted promptly upon our arrival and the staff was very courteous. Our room was clean and spacious. The only concern I had was the price was a bit high because it was the weekend for the Rock 'n Roll Marathon and Half Marathon, but I figure all hotels raised their prices that weekend. Overall, this was a great location and a very clean room. I would definitely stay here again!

Hotel was not as advertised or displayed. Pool was terrible, breakfast was worse. however, the front staff was outstanding.

My sister and I stayed and had trouble sleeping, she did not like the pillows and I found the sheets to be very scratchy - like the soap was not rinsed out thoroughly.
