Feel of luxury
We didn't get to spend enough time at the Valencia, but the room was something special (comfortable bed), the grounds were beautiful, and they took care of us. It is a luxurious hotel that we got at a great rate. The only negative was the very expensive valet parking.

Beautiful & convient
The hotel was fantastic & within short walking distance to great attractions. The beds were hard & the pillows were squishy, made for a difficult time sleeping.

July 4th Getaway
When I arrived they told me I would be staying in a double bed room for one out of the three nights only, even though I booked all three nights. The manager fixed that the next day. The front desk personnel were very clueless about many things concerning the hotel. The rooms were clean, and spacious. There was no pool or jacuzzi in the hotel. Great location near the RiverWalk. Overall it was an OK experience, nothing special.

Loud and no concierge
The look of the hotel is wonderfully modern. The main problems are: no concierge to assist with recommendations. The lighting is so poor you feel there has been a brown out. And the DJ that plays until 2 am keeps the room with the boom boom boom. The worst part is when the DJ leaves and all the revelers are cat calling in the street. There is also no pool. I will say Isreal, the Valet, was VERY kind and helpful.

Pretty Hotel
This is a beautiful hotel. The rooms are very nice and comfortable. The staff was very helpful and courteous. The only things I can say about the hotel are if you want to be close to the main portion of the river walk, then I would recommend a different hotel. If you don't mind walking, then this would be a great choice in hotels. If a pool is a must, then this isn't your hotel. There is no pool. Overall, the trip was excellent and I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a very nice and romantic hotel to stay in.

Money-saving tip:
Short walk from hotel
Make it a point to stop in the Riverview Mall prior to making any plans for activities and dining. They have a guest services kiosk that has a book of ideas, activities, and coupons that will help you maximize your funds throughout the area. Do not purchase things from the hotels, the prices are crazy! Take the time to get this magazine; it's worth it!!

we loved staying at this hotel
We stayed in San Antonio so that we could go to Lackland AFB, it was very easy to get to from this hotel. The staff was great and went out of their way to please you. Valet was quick and effecient. The rooms were very clean and spacious. I would def. stay here again. You do get a little traffic noise, but then again you are downtown.

Awesome Experience!!!
Our flight was late and when we made it to the hotel after 11PM, I asked the Valet for a retaurant recommendation before we checked in. Offered a great solution and was very courteous. The only bad experience...I asked for an umbrella to take a walk and was treated as if I was crazy.
