Ok business hotel
For my work in San Antonio, this hotel is welllocated, if not a little out of the way. Don't expect hot water in the morning, around 5:30. It took a good 3 + minutes for the shower to turn "hot". Breakfast was pretty decent for a "free" breakfast. Bed and bathroom where clean. Staff seldom was on the desk in the morning, around 7.

Great staff, great location, grand time
Checking in was fast and easy, with my room card in hand, I took the elevator to my room. The king sized bed was cozy and pillows fluffy. The staff was polite and very helpful with everyone greeting you. Rooms were cleaned each day. The free breakfast was just that, free but had everything you could want. Cereals, bagels, eggs ect. The cinnamon rolls were a favorite of mine. A two minute walk puts you at Huebner Mall. Lots of shopping,food and an AMC theatre. A short drive will take you Six Flags, I rode every roller coaster and The shops at La cantera a must visit shopping experience.

Good stay
It was a enjoyable, great beds. We go to Fiesta Texas each year, and it is close where after we don't have to drive far to relax after a long day there.

The hotel was quiet, location was great
I loved the location of this hotel. It is an easy drive to Seaworld and Fiesta Texas and there are excellent restaurants a block away, a wonderful Borden book-store, and a good selection of stores all in the one location. The breakfast was very good and well prepared, and the staff were very pleasant. The room was very clean and I would stay there again when I go to San Antonio.

We look for inexpensive middle range restaurants and coffee shops. You have about five very good ones all in the one shopping area a block away. We loved the location close to the freeway but quiet.

The way a hotel should be run.
From check in to check out, everything was way above par. The employees were courteous and accomodating, the room was spotless and no outside noise was heard, even though our room faced the front parking lot and access road. The breakfast each day was as good as you could get at any restaurant. They served bacon, eggs, sausage, tasty cinnamon rolls, cereal, chipped beef, biscuits, many types of juice, coffee and much more. If you are considering a hotel to commute to Lackland, seriously consider this one. It is about a twenty minute ride to the base and well worth the time. Enjoy!

middle of the night move, ugh
Okay, I needed to contact customer service about this anyways: after 11pm the neighbors started smoking cigarettes -and rather than move them- the hotel made US move to another room... which meant getting dressed and packed and moving in the middle of the night. The front desk said they would credit us for the stay, but then the next day they informed us that because it was paid through Orbitz that they couldnt refund it to us. So they told me to contact Orbitz, and if you approved then you could credit the stay back to my card. Victoria was the lady working the front desk that morning. Perhaps you can credit the charges back to my card?
