Great location, fabulous hotel
Our room was located directly across the hall from the ice machine, but it didn't matter one bit -- bathroom is located closest to the hall and the bedroom is far enough away that the noise didn't carry. Great location with easy access to everything we wanted to see while in San Antonio. First class Hyatt service.

Time-saving tip:
Not Applicable
Take the river taxi (look for the checkered flag on the back) in a loop around the Riverwalk so you can scope out everything you want to visit -- a 24-hour pass is available at a reasonable price and gives you on and off privileges.

Well located
The service from the front desk, restaurant and bar was excellent. The price was fair, but wireless was not free.

I heard that there were $130+ restaurants and bars on the Riverwalk. There is little point in going anywhere else with all of this out the back door of the hotel.

Right on the Riverwalk
The hotel was nicer than expected. Our room had a view of the Alamo and the river runs thru the lower lobby. It was within walking distance to all the restaurants and bars, very convenient. The roof top pool was very nice and had great city views.

Loved it!
We have family in San Antonio and have stayed at other hotels there in the past. However, this one has been the best so far. The service was wonderful from the time we pulled up to the valet until the time we left. Plus, the location is wonderful! The hotel is on the Riverwalk and around the corner from the Alamo. That means just about anything you want to eat buy or do is within walking distance. I'm picky about rooms too and ours was very nice. We usually upgrade in size. But it was a holiday weekend and we booked late. So we stayed in a regular room and I was surprisingly pleased with it. I'd definitly recommend this hotel to my friends and I plan to stay there again too!

Loved it
The hotel was absolutely BEAUTIFUL! The walls are somewhat thin, so you'll hear some hallway noise. Valet parketing comes at a premium. They even add tax to it, but they were fast and very courteous. I would skip the room service. The food isn't really good and if you order something that they don't have, they'll replace it with something else but not tell you until you call to inquire. I would definately stay there again.

Great Location
The hotel was very nice! Our room was really clean and quiet even though we had the first room right off the elevator. Didn't get to use the pool due to the weather but it looked small but nice. There is also a hot tub. If you don't plan on purchasing items from their frige(as soon as you remove items they are charched to your room immediately) call the front desk, they will bring you a mini frige. Be aware that the parking garage across the street is $24.95 a night and valet in $30.00 a night.(was not expecting that to be so expensive)!

Great View
We checked in and were given a room on the second floor. We asked if anything was available higher up and were given a room on the eleventh floor without any hassle. The view from the room was of the inside atrium. They considered this a non-upgraded room and truth to tell, was better than an upgraded room. From the atrium the riverwalk was visible and the inside temperature of the hotel guarenteed that our room would not get to hot as opposed to the rooms with the sun directly on them. The inside of the room was absolutely wonderful. Dark wood furniture, flat screen TV as well as current and fashoinable bed linens. No bland decor here. Well stocked minibar and one wall that was just a window. Located directly on the riverwalk, all manner of shops and restaurants were walking distance - even Rivercenter Mall. A complete joy, that I will frequent again...soon.

Mad Dogs is a bar - do not expect great food regardless of the hype and pictures. My wife and I made this mistake and would like to help any others that may seem interested.
