Great Stay for Convention Goers!
Nice big rooms, two TV's, and really comfy beds. We walked easily to Riverwalk and the Convention Center. Great friendly staff. Good enough buffet and a real bar and coffee house. Good value, will definitely stay again.

Good location at least...
My room at The Four Points by Sheraton San Antonio Downtown had a "hospital" bathroom. The opposite of comforting.

Economical and Convenient Business Trip
Needed a place to stay last-minute for a conference in early December. The Four Points Sheraton was one of the only hotels that had rooms left at a GREAT price. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I went for it. I was not sorry! My stay was great from the minute I approached the front desk. The staff was super pleasant and helpful. My room was great, clean, spacious, free wi-fi, comfortable bed (i slept like a log). Really close to the convention center - so convenient! Fitness center - very clean, a couple of treadmills, couple of ellipticals, some kind of bicycle- i think it was a recumbent bike, free weights and a bench, water, free headphones for tvs attached to equipment, towels. Parking - cost $16/day, you can come and go There was a cute little coffee shop in the lobby and they always had some kind of complimentary beverage available near the front desk.

Good Value in Semi-Isolated Location
Room was comfortable. No free breakfast and coffee not available all day. Fairly deserted area, even though only 5 or 6 blocks from Convention center. Not a bad business experience for the attractive price....but would not return for vacation travel.

Short walk that was worth it.
I traveled to San Antonio to attend a business convention. The Four points was a few blocks away from the convention center but worth the walk. The room was spacious and well organized and had all the items I required while there on business. I know that some of my colleges were required to pay addition fees for internet access and documents printing at other hotels in the area but for me it was free.

Just off the Riverwalk
Overall nice hotel. My room was surprisingly large, very clean. Staff was friendly. Restaurant/bar in the hotel was open for breakfast and dinner, but not lunch. It's a relatively short walk from the hotel to the Riverwalk and other points of interest. However there isn't much immediately around the hotel. The free wireless internet connection is a big plus, too.

Excellent Value
Hotel was within walking distance of the convention center, Riverwalk, Hemisfair Park & bus line to airport (which saved $34 each way relative to a cab!) Staff was very friendly. Restaurant on premises was adequate. Could have paid a little closer attention to detail in cleaning and replenishing supplies in the room. But then again, the price was awesome for a suite!

Reasonable and good access
The rooms were very spacious, with a sitting room and bedroom. Two televisions. The remote had to have batteries replaced. Comfortable and clean. Very short walk to bus station (public) to the airport. Short walk to the River Walk. Great bartender with good happy hour.

Positive Experience
Although the hotel is farther from the convention center and the Riverwalk than others, it is within reasonable walking distance of both to still be convenient. The staff is extremely helpful and polite and accomodated every request expediently and pleasantly. Parking is very limited, but if the downtown/convention center area is your destination, a car is unnecessary - once you park, you're set for the duration of your stay.

Dining tip:
Short walk from hotel
The very accessible restaurants on the Riverwalk offer almost unlimited choices for dining. Try Zuni Grill and Rio Rio for sure, but Boudro's was our ultimate dining experience, especially the tableside guacamole!
