Best budget hotel within walking distance
I was looking for a place within a short walk for my relatives to the Alamo and River Walk. This one was the best for the budget. Good free breakfast typical of this kind of hotel. Nice, clean rooms. One thing some might not like, but has nothing to do with the hotel. It is across the street from a large club that is booming until 2 a.m. I was still able to sleep, but some who sleep lightly might find this a problem.

Alamo side entrance just a block away. Go directly across the street from the Alamo entrance and enter to the River Walk walking down through a series of fountains and under the Hyatt.

Week End Getaway During Mardi-Gras
Location is a 5-minute walk from the hotel to the Alamo. Parking $21.00 per/night, pricy for parking. Hotel is NEW and maintained well. Dance club is located literally in front of the Hotel. Would recommend this hotel to anyone who does not want to pay more money for the "Riverwalk-Downtown" hotels. Location is great! Will definitely stay here again. Hotel walls are thin as you can hear everyone who is walking by the halls and from side rooms.

Fantastic Weekend Getaway
Rooms were very spacious, and hotel was in a great location. Just a short walk to the Riverwalk, right in the middle of everything.
