Simple & Affordable
My stay was nice, quiet, and the room was clean. I would stay again. I was unpleased with the staff willingness to assist. I reserved the hotel for two days. When I checked in for the first day I was told that I could cancel the second night as long it was 24 hours in advance. Yet when I attempted to cancel the second night I was told that I would not get my money refunded. I asked for a coupon or gift card towards another visit since I would not be staying for the second night and was refused. I do feel ripped off since I only enjoyed one night and was declined my refund for the second night.

Hotel Disaster
My daughter and I were traveling for a basketball tournament in San Antonio. We walked into the room and right away noticed that there were stains on the carpet and the room smelled moldy. The furniture was old and stained and the air conditioner contained lint. I left the hotel and cancelled my reservation.

Good

The non smoking room smelled like a smoking one. The room was noisey till around midnight then OK.

Stay at Econo Lodge on Labor day weekend
The hotel was very accomodating. We came early and was allowed to check-in thus saving us precious time to go around town. Room service was very good and room was neat and clean. I will recommend other travellers to try this place.

great for on the budget vacationing
this was a good location, not too far from downtown. lots of restaurants around. i would definately stay here again. we were happy.
