When we arrived, 11:30AM, I asked if we could go on and check in, the answer was YES! I was amazed that we could go on and ... check in before 4PM. The staff was very nice, then we retreated to the room. The room was a corner room with lots of windows. We had a great view of the city. The beds were nice and comfortable. We had free internet and cable t.v. We headed downstairs to the Riverwalk, the hotel was right on it. We walked around, very relaxing, and ate at multiple restaurants in the afternoon and evening. Before dinner we headed back to the hotel because between 5:30 and 7:30 they give each guest 3 free alcoholic drinks and snacks; nachos; pretzels; popcorn. Yummmm. We then explored the hotel rooftop. Very Very Very Very nice rooftop. Pool and 2 hot tubs. We spent the evening in the hot tub, we left it clean, no dirty stuff sickos. Morning breakfast was nice. Pancakes; eggs; sausage; cereal; muffins; oatmeal; coffee; juice; and best of all BISCUITS AND GRAVY!!! Check out was easy. PS Room was very nice. Easy parking, Free Valet services.

We have stayed at several hotels on the Riverwalk- Hyatt, Marriott and this hotel by far is the best! The staff were so ... nice, the snacks and drinks in the evening were a super extra and the room was fabulous. Very Nice Hotel and Great Value
Potential future resident of San Antonio Oct 9, 2009
Our flight into San Antonio was delayed due to weather. I called the hotel twice because of our very late arrival to make ... sure they didn't give our room away. While the staff said it would be no problem, they didn't ask how late we would arrive. It wasn't until I said after midnight that they actually asked for my name in order to make a note on my reservation. Upon check in I told the staff we did not have a car to park, but they charged me for 3 nights parking anyway. Nevertheless, the staff reversed the charges before I left without any problem. The hotel is on the San Antonio Riverwalk, it has very nice decor, and its within easy walking access to the numerous restaurants in the area. The hotel gives each person 3 free drinks each day of their stay at a "happy hour' but the ambiance is not very nice (they host it in their dining area) and the "snacks" are rather bland and boring. The free breakfast buffet is not too bad. Nevertheless, we [...] had a very pleasant stay.

The breakfast was a good way to ... begin the day and the complimentary three-drink happy hour was a good way to end the day. Free Internet was also a plus. I was in San Antonio for a conference and this hotel was a quick walk (~10 minutes) to the convention center. It was also ... very conveniently located on the Riverwalk. The Drury offered free evening beverages and snacks as well as a free breakfast buffet. It had a wonderful roof-top pool with a fabulous view of San Antonio. Rooms were a good size and comfortable.
