Days Inn San Antonio Splashtown/ATT Center

First thing we encountered that no toiletries in the room. The hotel needs a lot of repair. The first step on the stairs was broken. My room did not lock and I did not realize until the end of the day after I had been out all day.

I asked for no smoking, the room smelled of smoke. I asked for a queen or king and got two doubles. The A/C did not work well. BUT The bath was clean and fresh. A hair dryer, shampoo (no conditioner), and coffee maker were provided. The bed was reasonably comfortable. For the money it was decidedly NOT a good deal. AT $20 less, it would have been more acceptable.

Bathroom was really bad the whole room needs maintnance the smell in the room was pretty bad the shower curtain had mold all over

This was my worst stay ever [...] I've contacted the main headquarters for Days Inn to file a complaint.The internet was down the whole time we were there (which was one reason WHY we picked this location).The housekeeper only spoke Spanish while I only spoke English. So when I tried to show her that we were missing two light bulbs (one by the bed - one in the bathroom) - what did she do? Hand me toilet paper!DO NOT STAY HERE. YOU WILL REGRET IT.

The staff was not welcoming and could care less that you were there. I requested non-smoking and got smoking. Carpets were vacuumed but dirty - my kids feet were black from running around on the carpet. Vanity / sink light did not work. AC took forever (hours) to cool room to a comfortable level. Continental breakfast was NOT serve yourself - we waited in line 30 mintes for someone to make us food then ultimately gave up and checked out to go eat breakfast somewhere else. The staff did not even thank us for staying with them. I turned in my room key and all we got was "Thats all". I will never stay at this location again and do not recommend this place to anyone else.

it was a bad experience, there were roaches and nobody came to clean our room they said they only cleaned every other day.

The room was ditry. The floor was dirty, wet and stunk. The bed was made but look like the comforter and sheets were dirty not fresh. I didn't like the hotel room but the hotel was in a great location in relation to the Army base I was staying at.

Not so great, I expected cleaniness for being a large hotel chain. This was the first Days Inn that the restroom displayed evidence of not being cleaned. The urine smell was horrible. The shower curtain was ripping in two places. The restroom floors were filthy and had not been mopped. I will never stay at this Days Inn.

They were dead bugs in the bathroom. The linen on the beds did not seem clean and only had three pillows on two beds. The vanity light over the sink in the bathroom did not work.

It was a decent hotel certainly not a 5 star experience. The room was small if your bringing family. The room was fairly clean with the exception of a few empty chip bags and coke can underneath the night stand. Basically it was fairly clean but with a slightly dirty feel to it. Soda machines not working properly. Really nice pool area I have to say. Overall I give it 2 stars, and finally say if you just need a place to stay and your not that picky this days inn will do just fine. If you want a 5 star experience go elsewhere
