Happy customer

We had stayed at this motel on a visit 3 years ago and I wanted the same location so this is the one I requested. We were in San Antonio for our sons USAF basic training graduation and this motel is so close to the base you can hear taps in the evening.

Son's graduation from Lackland AFB

The staff was excellent! So friendly and helpful. The room was clean when we got there and was cleaned everyday. Pool was right outside our door and was clean and relaxing. If we get to San Antonio again I'll stay there again. It was close to alot of things.

Mary Ann, manager, was fantastic! very helpful with directions. Hotel needs some work. Safety bars in bathroom would be very helpful. No refrigerator in room, no cold bar in room as described in ad.

Great staff, poor quality hotel

Hotel grounds and pool were very dirty. Our sheets were never changed over 5 night stay. We were unable to access any movies and the TV had a very poor quality picture. The dresser drawers would not stay shut on top and the bottom drawers would not open. There was trash left in our hotel room from previous customers. Front desk staff was very helpful and friendly although they were unable to solve any of the problems with the TV.

We toured the caverns, which are approximately 15 to 20 miles away and they were awesome. The neighborhood around the hotel is bad so travel into town for shopping and dining.

Not a Fan

We stayed at this hotel because we were told it was across the street from Lackland Air Force Base and we thought we could walk to the AFB. You can not! The entrance is not even close so don't be fooled. The hotel smelled dirty and the carpet and couch were really gross. The bathroom was also in need of repairs and major cleaning.

The alamo Shuttle service was great. [...] the drive/owner is awesome. He was always on time and the travel fee was reasonable. $5 to the base. $35 from the airport. $25.00 downtown from our hotel. Nice guy great service.

Note to self: book room early

$100.00 doesn't buy what it used to. I booked the room just the night before therefore I was left with limited options in my price range. The motel was not in the best neighborhood and was older than most. Even though we booked late I expected more. The room was decent and close to Sea World, about 15 min.

good enough for my trip

The overall stay was just fine. The hotel is more like a motel but it worked fine for my trip. The room was old but clean. I was surprised that the rooms faced outside. I was expecting a regular hotel, but it was definitely like a motel.

Very close to AFB but not that clean..

Our room had doritos on a chair, used band aid in the bathroom and red hair in the bath tub. Breakfast is really not much. I wish they didn't advertise it as "Breakfast". The location was perfect to AFB.

Staff very friendly!

Great location to Lackland AFB for basic training graduation. This will save you some from extra driving time getting back to the hotel. The room we had was clean and we had no problems. It was clean, close, and the staff was very nice!
