Carefree Inn Lackland

Everything in the room smelled of smoke. The tub had a crack and I could hear when the people in the next room went to the restroom. The guest over me were very noisy. I woke up on the first night from a door slamming and I taught someone was trying to break down my door. I was there for the Air Force graduation and the location was perfect. We walked to the supermarket and that saved us from the resturant food

The only definite plus is the location, since - was on the business trip. However, the essentials needed FOR the BUSINESS were NOT functioning. The tv's cables were ripped out - unable to watch the news. The internet password was NOT working. The only reason I would ever stay there if I just needed to have a roof over my head.

room crowded with unneccary furniture. towels and sheets stained and dingy. lights in bathroom took 20 min to come on.carpets stained, table dirty. bathroom floor dirty. smell even though it was a non smoking room. outside garbage on the room floors not picked up and starting to smell. the breakfast was not put out they said due to not enough quest. the checkin person was nasty looking and was to personell making unwanted remarks, and when asked for assistance would make unneccary rude comments. we would wait for a different shift to come on before approching the front desk. The only good thing was it was close to Lacklond AFB.

The location was excellent if you are attending a Lackland Air Force Base graduation. Stayed 2 nights and had no problems. It was VERY convienient as you can see the barracks of Lackland from the parking lot. Everything was clean and in order in the room. If you don't plan on spending much time in the actual room, it would be fine.

If you're visiting Lackland for your Airman's graduation, you can't beat the location of this hotel. We actually walked daily to the Base, saved the money for a rental car! Cab fare to the airport was only $23 per person one way, you can't rent a car for $100 a week! Only down side was housekeeping. I'm not sure if they understood english very well. If you asked for towels, shampoo, etc., you wouldn't get it, you had to go to the office and ask, but the office staff is more than willing and happy to give you what you need! We would stay there again.

room was comfortable. restaurants close by. I went to lackland for my sons graduation & the hotel was close by the base, within walking distance. Would recommend to friends.

The Carefree Inn Lackland is very convienient to stay at if you're visiting Lackland AFB. My stay there was very comfortable and clean. I loved how I could just walk to base in two minutes. There are restaurants very close by which is also a plus. The room was very clean and housekeeping was excellent. The staff was awesome. I would definitely recommend the Carefree Inn Lackland to everyone.

Had an enjoyable stay. Was in town for son's Lackland AF graduation. Perfect for this event and the price. Only thing was that I had difficulty finding hotel (and everywhere else) due all the road construction in the works. However, hotel staff and the people in San Antonio were great and helped everytime I got lost. I would recommend this hotel.

This motel was a great comfort to me. I had the choice of sleeping on a king size bed or a queen size, all in one room. The motel staff were very friendly. Had a lot of information to give you about the Air Force Base. So I did enjoy my stay and I will recommend it to everyone I know that moght be going to San Antoino Lackland.
